PAP voucher and room discount question

If I bought the PAP voucher and haven't activated it yet can i book a room and get the passholder discount for the time when I am going when I will activate my pass?

Does that make sense?

Yes. You may be asked for your PAP at checkin. It is the policy to show it a check in but some CMs don't ask for it.

Yes, you can reserve a room with the AP rate prior to activating it. I have reserved with an AP rate even though I did not have an active AP at the time of booking. Will you have the activated pass when you check in? If not, they may ask you to return to show the actual AP. I don't know about the resorts, but the stores seem to be stricter about checking the AP and photo ID before giving the discount on merchandise.
