Pandamonium, Pixie Dust, and Paraphenalia!... What was I thinking! updated 2/1!!

I'm sorry about Tom's Nan. Your to-do list is totally overwhelming. I also wish I could help! Thank goodness you have something as terrific as WDW to look forward to at the end of it.

Well Nan passed on about an hour ago. Tom was there and is taking it all well. So I guess that can all be 'officially' added to my to do list.

I did get the skirt of my porch stained....the leaves all raked.... and 77 assorted daffodil, tulip, hyacinth, and crocus bulbs planted ..... only 350 to go Again...WHAT WAS I THINKING!!!

Oh well... Allisonis being a big help... she's planting the crocuses. We are just scattering them thru the yard so that by the time the kids are ggrown... my yard will be a blanket of little crocuses in the spring.... rather than mud She has 17 planted.... out of 100.

Well daylight is burning... I'm not gonna be able to lift my arms in the morning!!

I did get his highness's hiney out the door to go dump a wheelbarrowful of lawn waste down in the woods

Allison managed to get 30 crocuses planted. We got a total of about 200 bulbs planted. I don't know if the others will get planted or not.. it sorta depends on the weather after we get back. I highly doubt that I'll get more done this week... unless Nan's funeral turns out to be a nice sunny day...since I'll have the day off now I feel so guilty thinking about what else I may accomplish from my to do list now that I'll have that extra half day

Thank you!! Yes she was peaceful. Tom and his Sisters, Dad and Stepmom were all there with her... thats her entire family

The porch is done... sort of LOL!! I did not get the floorboards stained. The wood is treated, so it will be OK for the winter if I can't get it done. The skirt was not treated...soit had toget doneb4 the snow! I'mvery happy with how it looks... now that the evil trees are gone..you can even see it!

Sorry to hear about Nan. That's a lot of planting you have to do.

Yeah... Tom's Grams are both up there! His other gram, who still lives at home, is 94!! Nan was the healthier of the 2.. but at 99, falling and breaking a hip is a terrible thing to bounce back from. She just kept spiralling downhill from there. My Grandma is a young lil chick in comparison! She's only 77!

Well as far as my To Do List... I did well today!
I raked the leaves
I stained the porch (what i was gonna try to finish at least)
Allison and I planted approx 200 flower bulbs
I printed off my conf#s
I sent my GreenGrocer order
I printed off and trimmed the iron-ons for our tees
I actually MADE Ellie's 2 tees and 1 of Allison's (I need to pickup shirts at
Michaels tomarrow for Jen and the boys and Allison's other tee)
I emptied off my little camera's SD card
Got out my 'extra' suitcase... cause I'll need more room to come
home
I sent the email to Jen...re what to pack
talked to mom...she said she was feeling well and didn't need anything, so I
didn't go see her

I think that's it... but at least I made a dent!

The 1st 2 I created... the 3rd one is a variation of a DISign by Donatalie. She is taking some time off from the boards, so I removed the text from one she did for someone else and personalized it myself. I'm making one like this for each of us... but Jen and the Boys will also say 1st Visit! They are ll different characters...I think they'll be cute!

Alrighty then...onto the itinerary!!

Saturday... Latish flight at 2pm out of BWI (we got a great rate!) Will arrive at MCO at 4:15. I'm hoping to get to Kidani by 6pm or so. We'll settle into the room then head to MK!! I'm hoping we will get to see Spectro and Wishes tonite...and hopefully catch either Pirates or Haunted Mansion. We will grab supper at Casey's tonite

Sunday... Animal Kingdom day! Touring plans recommends it as the best park for today... and I have found they are usually right on the money...so that's where we are going! Going to try to hit pretty much everything...including that elusive parade I have YET tosee The park closes at 5pm. We will then catch the bus to the Contemporary for Dinner at Chef Mickey's! My DDs love CM's and insist on it every trip. I try to plan it early in the trip, so we see the fab 5 ASAP! After Dinner we will either go to DTD for a while, go to MK for EMH, or head back and enjoy the resort.

Monday...MK day! We will spend the whole day at MK today. We had a before park bfst at CP... but I cancelled it. I know...sacriledge! But in case we are late out Sun nite...I don't want to worry about an early Breakfast. I'm going to try to get everyone thru the park...seeing everything we can. Lunch depends on where we are at the time. Dinner we have 5pm ressies for O'Hana's. I hear wonderful things about that place, but the menu just doesn't appeal to me at all I hope it goes OK. After Dinner..we will do whatever the kids want... DTD, back to MK, go to the resort, whatever.

Tuesday... AM EMH at Epcot. Try to get mostof FutureWorld done by 11am. Then wander back to World Showcase to France. We have a 12noon ADR at Les Chefs to see Remy...Allison is really excited about this! After Lunch, Jen and the boys and Ellie will head back to Kidani for a swim, Depending on the time... Allison andI may too. No later than 3pm, Allison and I will travel on to MK. She has an Appointment for BBB! She is getting the full deluxe makeover. Jen and the other kiddos will meet us at MK around 5pm. We will get some dinner then join in the fun at MVMCP!!

Wednesday....Sleep in day!! I am gonna relax on the balcony with my coffee and a book while watching the giraffes. That has been my dream ever since buying into AKV!! We don't needto be anywhere til 12. We had a lunch ADR at LeCellier. After Lunch we will poke around World Showcase and try and help Kim Possible save the world from derranged Pretzels! We have no other ADRs or plans for the day..and will just take it as it comes. May get another swim in today.

Thursday.... Hollywood Studios! Rope drop, of course, so we can do TSM! Going to see as much as we can... the boys are both afraid to try ToT... but I'm hoping that by this time they'll give it a try Lunch will probably be at Pizza Planet. We have an early Dinner ADR at Hollywood and Vine with the Fantasmic Dinner Package. I have always had very good meals at H&V...even though it gets a bad rap. I would have preferred Mama Melrose, but the FantasmicDinner Pkg was the priority! After Fantasmic, we will call it a night.

Friday.... "Free Day" gonna let the kids decide where they want to go. Repeat a park... or Blizzard Beach or DisneyQuest. We have never done BB or DQ...so I suspect the girls will push for one of those! We have a 6pm ADR at the Garden Grill in Epcot. We will see Illuminations tonite and then enjoy PM EMH til we are ready to leave.

Saturday...We go home today...already!! We are going to hop over to AK for the morning and enjoy a late breakfast at Tusker House with Donald Duck! We will have to be back to Kidani for ME by around 1pm. I picked AK for today because we can really maximize our time since our resort is only 2 minutes away
We will get back to baltimore around 6:15pm, then go to the Ramada for our Park and Fly night. We'll drive home Sunday morning.


Well that's about it!! I'd love any tips/advice on Blizzard Beach or DQ since they are new for me!
I'll be back tomarrow!
