Pampered Chef Recommendations Needed

I have both sized batter bowls and love them. I also have both the large and small pinch bowls. They are small glass bowls with plastic covers - perfect for small amounts of leftovers.

I LOVE the bamboo utensils (I have all of them) and the silicone spatulas. They both work great on the nonstick pans. I also have the knives that came inside the sharpening case, which I use almost daily. Don't know if they still carry those though...

You've got plenty of suggestions, but I still want to share mine

I used to sell PC and I LOVE to cook! I had a great time as a consultant (years ago) and had every product that they sold.

I love the mini spatulas. I probably have 4 of them, and when I have a party of any kind, they all 4 get used. I also try to pick up a couple of extra whenever I go to a show because they are great gifts for people. For instance, if I'm invited somewhere I will make a plate of treats and attach the new spatula to the top. Same goes for teacher gifts, etc... they are just a really nice size and hold up very, very well.

As others have mentioned, I like the garlic press, the mini-whipper (I really love that little thing!), the crinkle cutter, the corer (who doesn't love to impress by serving cucumber slices with a carrot slice lodged in the center? People STILL rave about those!)the mini baker (the other stones are too heavy for my taste), the pizza cutter, the dill seasoning (a staple in my kitchen!) etc..

Within the last few years, I bought a product that is called the "Chop and Stir" (I think). You use it to chop up ground meat in the pan while cooking it (it's nylon so it won't scratch your pans). I didn't know if this thing would be worth it, but it's GREAT! It does exactly what it's supposed to do. Can't beat that with a stick!!

The other thing that I bought last year is a serving item. It's an oval wooden tray with 4 small wooden bowls on it. You can use them all together or separately. It's so pretty! It always looks great on my table and I've found so many uses for it.

I think you'll have fun at the party. Oh... one thing I bought that I didn't like.. cake decorating "tubes" that you fill up and then squeeze out the frosting. They are AWFUL to clean! I would not purchase them again.

I love PC. I have the bamboo utensils, the bread tongs, the large mixing bowl with cover, a spinning rotating utensil holder, the 9x13 stoneware, the pots and pans and the protectors for them. I love most of it. I don't use the protectors for the pots and pan - I'm just too lazy to keep putting them in. I also think that the stoneware is TOO HEAVY.
Next on my list is the mixing pitcher. My aunt has one and I love it.
Look at their website an think about what you could use in ur kitchen. i doubt u will be dissppointed with anything from PC.

In the last year this has become my new favorite PC item. I like my hamburger in crumbles and this works wonderfully. Other items used often are the pizza cutter, scraper, and ice cream scoop. I have lots of PC items over the years and all seem to do well. Just get something practical that you know you will use.

I agree with others who said that the stoneware is too heavy. I have a couple items and I never use them. I actually have a few items that I rarely use - cake decorating tube thingy, mini cutter set (cookie cutters), one of those choppers (kind of like the "slap chop").

I do love the Classic Batter Bowl, the bamboo mixing spoon set, mini serving spatula, pizza cutter and the TOASTER TONGS (I use these daily, but I'm afraid that they no longer carry them). I also find the iSlice coupon cutter VERY handy when it comes to giftwrapping, and the set of bag clips - great for chips and bread.

I will say that, hands down, my favorite item that I've purchased is the Trifle Bowl. It comes with a lid, so it's perfect for transporting food, and it looks nice. So much better than a plastic bowl...great for taking food to a family gathering, picnic, etc. Any kind of fruit salad, pasta salad, etc. looks great in it and you've never made an easier dessert in your life! Instant pudding, cool whip, some crushed up cookies...layer it and you're done. My kind of cooking!

My first experience with Pampered Chef was a book sale DS16's kindergarten class had for a fundraiser. I bought one thing just to be nice and participate; it was a $4 strawberry tool they no longer sell. I still have it; when you need to clean strawberries it is a wonderful tool that just scoops out the stem part of the strawberry. They don't sell it anymore; but if you buy the Core & More tool, the small end of this tool does the same thing.

I also LOVE the julienne tool. And, all of their knives are wonderful. I had a knife set from WalMart that had sentimental value because my Dad bought if for me, but once I had Pampered Chef knives, I was stunned at how much easier it was to prepare food when I had good knives. If you buy just one knife, buy the 5 inch utility knife.

Also, the Mandolin tool is really useful. Its price will make you , but you will probably use this at least once a week to slice or chop or grate something.

I guess it depends on what you want to spend. Some of the PC things I have are:

The microwave cooker - couldn't live without it. I use it to cook my hamburger for spaghetti and tons of other things.

The Quick Stir pitcher - not sure if this is the correct name, but it has a plunger type thing in the lid so you don't spill when you are mixing the contents.

Pizza baking stones - I love them. Use them all the time for frozen pizzas. Also great for baking cookies.

Pizza Cutter - I love their big wheel cutter.

About 13 years ago, I had a Pampered Chef party and ended up buying their cookware set. It had 2 saucepans, to larger pans, and a frying pan - all with lids. I got it 50% off and was in need for some. I still have every piece and it is in perfect working condition. I don't know how many times I have dropped the lids and they have never broke. The whole set is quite expensive, but if you have a party and can get things 50% off, that is the way to go. It is hard to find a pots and pans set that will last that long.

I've bought a fair number of my PC items from ebay alot cheaper than from PC. I've also seen PC on Craigslist. You might want to check these options if you see too many things you want. You wouldn't want to buy stoneware that way thought, because as others have said it's very heavy so shipping would be expensive.

I love pampered chef! I don't like the stones though. They are too heavy, I don't like the feel of them, and I can't stand the fact that you can't wash them with soap! It just seems yucky to me.

I love the cookie scoop. That is my favorite item. I have all 3 sizes. People always ask me how I get my cookies all the same size.

The knives are great! They are the best knives I have owned by far.

I use the adjustable measuring cup all the time. The one with liquid on one side and solids on the other side. It is the best thing to measure foods like peanut butter, or shortening.

I personally love the can opener. I think that's definitely the one pampered chef item I own that I use all the time. I also use my stoneware bar pan quite a lot (the 9x13 one).

I love my small and large barpan the best. They are great for everything, including using in the toaster oven and microwave (the small one). We do alot of things in the toaster oven like chicken strips and french bread pizza and it crisps very nicely. Just a quick tip - you can clean your stone with baking soda - it absorbs any grease and odors - make a paste using their kitchen brush if they still sell it - my brush lives in the dishwasher so it gets cleaned every time I do the dishes - I use it only on my stones and cookware.
Also love the can opener too, no sharp edges from the can top. And the quick stir pitcher - we drink alot of crystal light and that thing mixes it really well.

My favorites are the garlic press, large bar pan, any of the knives!! I also love the Deep Covered Baker (it's a host only) if I didn't have one I would totally host a show just to get one of those. You can make a million (slight exageration) dishes in the microwave and the food comes out tasting great!!! Oh and i love the tool turn about, and mix and scrapers! Okay, I'll go ahead and admit it, I have tons of PC and pretty much love everything!!!

I love all my stuff and I have about 90% of the stuff. I would say look for something you will actually use. If you buy something just to buy something you will not love it or possibly use it. Pretty safe bets would be mini serving spatula, quikut paring knives, ice cream scoop, any of the pantry items, pizza cutter, vegetable peeler these items are all pretty inexpensive. If you are looking to spend a little more the Mandoline, food chopper, any of the cutlery, the cookware is very nice also. Just if you have a smooth top stove you may not want to get the stainless cookware it could cause damage.

If there really is nothing you personally would like you could always think ahead for Holiday gifts or birthdays.
