I have both sized batter bowls and love them. I also have both the large and small pinch bowls. They are small glass bowls with plastic covers - perfect for small amounts of leftovers.

It comes with a lid, so it's perfect for transporting food, and it looks nice. So much better than a plastic bowl...great for taking food to a family gathering, picnic, etc. Any kind of fruit salad, pasta salad, etc. looks great in it and you've never made an easier dessert in your life! Instant pudding, cool whip, some crushed up cookies...layer it and you're done. My kind of cooking!
