I seen a lot of ppl really like this and with school just one week away i KNOW my daughter will want uncrustables but they are so expensive that I thought it might be worth buying this..online it's $9 and then $6.25 for anything up to $19.99....is it worth $15 or can anyone recommend another cheaper item that I could add to make spending that much in shipping worth it? I never buy anything off the internet and I have searched high and low in all different stores for something like this but the only thing they have is the things that remove just the crusts...Or is there any kind of discount codes (i realize this is highly unlikely)???? thanks so much!

I have this and we used it for a long time - Pampered Chef is a good line of products - however, they are now selling similar items at WM, Bed Bath & Beyond or any other kitchen store. I might try locally before buying online - although I'm sure you can find a PC rep close to you if that's the one you want. (Uncrustables are really expensive!)

before buying online, i'd see if you can locate a local pampered chef consultant!
they can probably add it on to a party order and charge you less for shipping...

we LOVE our cut & seal~! i do pb&j, but also grilled cheese and "pizza" grilled cheese, kids love this!

I've had good success getting brand new pampered chef items off ebay for less than retail from people who are quitting the consulting.

I have the PC cut and seal and my kids like it, but I pick up lots of different shaped cookie cutters that they like better. Any cookie cutter seals the edges.

I have checked at WM here and at Kitchen Collection stores..we don't have many options for kitchen supply stores where i live, i even traveled over a hour away looking..

Anyone know how I can find a rep in my area? I don't know anyone who does it so...thanks!

Try a cookie cutter first and see if you don't get the results you want first. Works for us!

One suggestion for when you make the sandwiches. Put a thin layer of PB on both slices of bread and the J in the middle. It keeps the J from making the bread soggy during the day.

Why don't you just cut the crust off of regular spongy white bread and then use the tines of a fork to seal the edges. This concept is FREE!

I just press the edges of a big plastic cup into the sandwich, then I flip the sandwich over and do the same on the other side. It cuts the crust off neatly and seals very well. And it is free!

No, for a regular white loaf of bread it just barely takes off just the crust and nothing else. For larger loaves, it takes off a bit more. I don't have measurements but I believe it is 3.5 inches to 4" square.

Are the sandwiches you make with these really small? I don't want to waste a lot of bread and it looks tiny

I read about the item here on the budget board and purchased one from ebay last week ($12 total). We got it in time for the first day of school (Monday). It works great - kids love it. We're going to make a loaf of pbj's tonight and put them in the freezer for school lunches. I'm looking for other ideas of sandwiches that we could freeze...

You can freeze most sandwiches.....meat and cheese, etc....
