Went to book our cruise activities last night (right at 9pm PT) for the 12/9 3-night on the Wish and was a bit surprised: Palo was unavailable for every meal. Enchante was mostly unavailable. Everything else, including tastings and spa packages, was readily available (except cabanas on Castaway, of course).

12/9 cruise seems to have lots of stateroom availability and I never had issues booking Palo/Remy when I was Silver CC pre-pandemic and didn't have any issues last year during the pandemic while Gold CC (though that cruise was likely less busy).

Does this error message mean it's sold out or something else?

I'm skeptical there's that many Concierge/Platinum guests on this 3-night.

As an aside: the website was excruciatingly slow and unreliable. Disney IT strikes again.

As platinum CC members we went to book our Wish activities right at 9pm Pacific. Palo was completely sold out for our 4 night as well. Enchenté Brunch was also sold out. Only Enchenté dinner was widely available. We were able to get a Palo reservation about a week later by periodically checking back and stumbling on an opening.

I usually get that error when there is a slot available, but they don't like the number of guests we are trying to book. (Like there's only one slot actually available for a Mixology class, but I'm trying to book it for both of us). Sometimes we've had luck getting Palo by adding additional guests that were traveling with us.

I took a look on the website for your cruise to see how many concierge rooms were available for 2 people. Every concierge stateroom category was unavailable except for five family verandah concierge rooms and accessible concierge rooms. With that many concierge rooms already booked, plus however many platinum cruisers are onboard, it is most likely that Palo is only going to be available for you to book once you board the Wish. In addition, if I recall correctly, people (non-concierge) were also having problems with booking a table online for two at Palo on the Wish.

Wow, really surprising there was no availability for Platinum CC. That seems like a problem.

Enchante brunch (not available) and Palo dinner (not available) were priorities for us, so this is disappointing that it's actually an availability issue (for our group size) and not something else. I did get an Enchante dinner (final night, not ideal) and will keep checking back for the others.

We cruised on the Wish earlier this month and could only pre-book one dinner at Palo. We arrived late to port (215) and went to the Luna lounge around 3 to see if there was more availability. There was plenty for dinners at both Palo and Enchante. We thought the food was amazing and ate at Palo twice and Enchante once. We did not ask about brunches. Both restaurants had many open tables while we ate there. I don’t know why they show limited availability. It gave us a lot of stress pre-cruise, but we were very happy with how our dining ended up.

Just my wife and I are going. I emailed Disney and they said I may be having problems bc only 4 & 6 top tables are available. Told us to keep trying or wait until we’re on board. Guess we’ll be heading straight to Palo on Monday 😂

When we were on the Wish (August 1) we tried to get a Palo Brunch. When we spoke to the manager of Palo he said that there is a problem that the computer system refuses to let a group of two book into a table for 4 people. He said that only have 12 (if I remember correctly) tables that are just for two. We would have had no problem booking a dinner with them but we specifically wanted a brunch. I think the other problem with the Wish specifically is that the cruises are short which greatly limits the number of dinners/brunches that are available to book. We had a bit of a later PAT as well so I think if we had been on board earlier and went to Luna right away we may have been able to get brunch.

So, definitely go to Luna when you get on board and see what they can get you!

Great to know that we have a good chance to book when we get on board. I’ve been trying every day lol.

We were on rhe 8/8 Wish sailing. I'm gold and was on at exactly midnight 105 before embarkation and was unable to get Palo dinner for any of the 4 nights as a party of 2. I called in the next day in case it was a glitch and they strongly hinted that tables for larger parties were available but they wouldn't book a party of 2 at a table for 4 prior to embarkation. We went to Luna on embarkation day as soon as they opened and were able to get a reservation. I checked the app when we were in the port terminal but that still showed no availability.

If one is flexible with seating time (early or later), my experience(s) are that Palo resv's may be obtained . . . day of boarding, or often day of dining. DCL Cast members really do try to please and we have seen that smiles and polite requests have often had good results!

Enjoy!

How many Palo reservations does concierge get? I read that one concierge guest had 2 dinners and 2 brunches. Concierge alone would take away many slots if they can get that many reservations.

Brunch, whether Palo or Enchante, is supposed to be once per cruise.
Pre-Covid, you could book two nights in Palo/Remy if one of them was the first night. I do not know if that is the current policy.

I think that being able to book first is a legitimate concierge perk. Being able to book extras of activities that are supposed to limited to one offering, does not seem right to me.
