Im a couple of months out from our cruise on the Wonder (Feb 1).

We are staying in a cat 3 room.... can we make Palo ressies prior to getting to the Port?

I guess this would mean that they knew what the dining rotation was and would let me know so that I can choose..

Can anyone provide more info?

THANKS

But I know they do get to have the team make their ressies for them. I am not sure if it is a week or two before you sail or once you get to the concierge waiting area. At any rate being in a cat.3 you will certainly be assured to get the seating you desire at Palo! Have a great trip :)

I believe passengers in the suites (Categories 1-3) are allowed to make Palo reservations prior to boarding. My understanding is that the concierge service contacts you before your trip to arrange this, but I'm not sure of the particulars, having never stayed in one of these rooms.

I'm sure the dinner planning guru of our trip will be along later to answer this fully. But I do know that we booked Palo for our 12/27 cruise on 11/17. We were also able to pick our dining rotation.

We are on the magic on 1/24 and I have already made our Palo ressies through the concierge.

She also let me choose our rotation when I was on the phone with her so Palo wouldn't conflict with the dinners we wanted to have in the dining room.

I received a letter from the concierge team with phone numbers for Palo ressies and for excursions. They handled everything. I even called the excursion desk a few day early for CC parasailing and she put the ressie in this morning so I could get the time I wanted.

It sure beats doing the mad rush when you get on the ship.:earsgirl:

Did you have to wait for your cruise docs?.. or did you contact
them before that?

I contacted them a few weeks ago, I don't have my cruise docs yet. We are still 60 days out.

At what cabin category level do they allow you to make Palo reservations before boarding?

Cat. 1-3 or any other special booking that includes the concierge service, i.e. vow renewals or wedding.

I just called and got the standard "you make these reservations after you board" response.

Can someone give me the number they called to get to the concierge staff?

THANKS

Our TA called Disney and was able to reserve the private room at Palo for New Year's Day. She was only able to do this because my parents are staying in a Cat. 2 stateroom.

We're all looking forward to it!!

I just spoke to DCL and got my Palo ressie and rotation (APTA)

THANKS!

I would assume she was able to get the reservations because they are staying in a concierge level room.. I think that's the only way you can make the ressies ahead of time.
(another reason why I'd rather go with a 1-2 cat than 4... since that's our only option anyway with 5 in our family LOL)

She?......a little too feminine for me (puffing up chest for emphasis)

We are in a cat 3 room and the Concierge desk made the res for me.

Did the number come with your documents? or did you just call them outright. Staying in Cat 3 and want to know how to get the ressies early.

Last May, our friends were in 8030 (Walt Disney Suite) and knew their brunch and dining reservations prior to boarding.

Again, I sure wish they would allow us non-conciege level to get reservations after we make final payment. Hate that race to Rockin' Bar D after we go to Dining Room Changes to get our favorite servers.....just too much stress for embarkation time.

Bill,
So sorry about that! Truly...
Soon as I posted that I noticed your username and thought uhoh... I bet that's a male Dismember and I made a booboo. but I was hoping not! Should have went with my gut feeling and edited my post- sorry! :(
(LOL@puffing up chest!)

I called the concierge desk directly. They were very helpful. When I called the regular cruise number they gave me the "wait till you board" runaround. You can pick your dining rotation and book excursions too.
