Palo dress code

They do enforce the dress code, even at brunch. My husband forgot to change out of his jeans when he showed up and had to go back to our cabin and change before they would seat us.

Jean's are now acceptable.

When we ate at Palo in April on the Dream I was surprised to see a group of people (I think all women) dressed in tee shirts, athletic leggings, and tennis shoes. They literally looked like they just came from the gym. I think they may have been doing run Disney events prior to the cruise so maybe their group was given an exception. Or maybe all of their luggage was lost. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

My mom wore dressy capris and was fine. Capris are not shorts.

Time was that capris were also on the "do no wear" list. But they've been removed, so capris are OK.

I wore my jeans, Monster University shirt, and Birkenstocks type shoes as I was checking for a spot at brunch, and they found me a table..
I cried a little because I was so excited to get to eat, so maybe he didn't have the heart to ask me to change.

Also, no flip flops allowed even if they nicer, leather flip flops. I totally forgot and my husband was wearing his leather flip flops with pants and a button down and they made him go change his shoes.

Witness a person show up in shorts at Pablo brunch. He was told no shorts aloud a asked to changed into pants or jeans. He was also offered a pair of pants if it more convenient.

Does that mean no sandals? No sandals if they're the thong type? I was planning on buying a dressier pair of sandals to bring with me for brunch but I don't want to buy something and be turned away because of it. Some metallic sandals like these are what I was thinking. It's hard to find ones that don't have the strap between the toes.

Women can wear nice sandals.

How about jean jackets? I have a few nice maxi dresses I could bring for Palo Brunch but feel uncomfortable showing my shoulders and arms a lot. Anyone ever worn a jean jacket with their outfit or got turned away for it?
