Could you add me please? I followed along with the original thread, though I didn't post, and this is a GREAT idea! I was seriously considering shelling out $100+ to get one, this is a great alternative. My trip is August 8th-15th.

I was trying to find one of these. I'll be there 10-16 April. How are you going to collect the $10 payment? And how are you going to verify that the correct person picked him up? What if someone loses him? I'd be scared to do this. I don't want to spend the money to buy one though

Hi first I am sorry to say that your dates were all ready filled but If she is leaving early the 15 you could probable use him the 15 & 16th? to answer your question I will be collecting money via paypal from the first 10 people who sign up but only after we confirm enough interest. If he is lost then the last person to have him will have to replace him or pay for a new one (ebay) I would hope the only one who picks up the box knows there name and the person before them names. I hope that helps.

If you don't fill up enough of your dates, another option to consider would be a swap where you mail each other PAL Mickey. If there is a large gap in between swappers, you can mail it to the next participant and since he is relatively small, he wouldn't cost that much to send him if you take out his batteries. You can insure the package so if he is lost, there are funds to replace him. Then it wouldn't matter which resort anyone stayed at and he wouldn't spend too much time in luggage services....

I just thought I'd throw the idea out there... I already have my PAL Mickey from 2005, so I'm not looking to join this swap.

Well I can only speak for myself but I thought buying a Pal Mickey for $50- $200 was a little pricey when most of what he does is for being at WDW. So I thought to get one that we can swap him out and everyone can be happy with out breaking the bank!
