I guess there's also supposed to be a PDA/Palm Pilot for adults that gives the same information. At least that's what's posted on the Rumors and News Board

I feel like the lone dissenter! I really dislike carrying loose items around. If it's not in my backpack, it's not going with me! I guess I'll have to reserve judgement until I actually get to SEE one up close in person!

I'm sure I try this out since I will get the "free" day of use as a DVC member. But I was wondering about the size as well. I like to be hands free in the park. Maybe if its small enough to shove in a fanny pack. Of course I can't give it to the kids to hold onto, they would lose it for sure!

Pal Mickey is supposed to make his official debut in April.

From what seems to be known about these at this point.....

will these be available at every resort or just at the DVC resorts?

are they available to all guests or just DVC members?

Of course i would give it a shot once, but agreeing with the general thought here - a smaller more portable version would be more our style. (a wrist watch or a keychain type thing to hang on the backpack, beltloop or wrist)

It's available to the general public, there's just a mention of an offer to try it for DVC members in the quarterly newsletter. It's my understanding that Pal Mickey will be at all parks and in resort gift shops.

I did hear back from DVC Member Services who said they have no further information on Pal Mickey than was provided int he newsletter.

How disappointing?? It's just my luck to miss it by a month. My boys will be so sad. Oh well, maybe next time huh??

My fingers are crossed that they will come out early as we will be there March 14-22. Jim Hill's article says March 24 so maybe just maybe they will be released early!!! Here's to wishful thinking!!!
