Pal Mickey (& Friends) Adventures & Fashions

Hello, DDA! I went to preschool with Beth today. There were a lot of fun things to do there.

Miles dressed me this morning and put on my rain slicker. It wasn't raining, but he thought that I needed a coat on.

The first thing that I did was play with the playdough, but I was careful not to get any on me.

Then I moved on to the train table. A couple of the little boys were trying to figure out how to put the track together, so I helped supervise.

Here I am with Mr. Potato Head.

I also took a ride on a fire truck.

Then it was "circle time". We talked about the calendar and the weather and sang some songs.

Here I am with the craft that we made today. We are starting to talk about Easter.

I stayed away from snack time, because I've heard that there are "JUICE ALERTS!" some days. That means that juice is spilled, and I don't want to be sticky and wet. I could hear the book that was read at story time, though. It was called The First Easter.

I read these books during "book time". Look! One is about me as a baby!

I had a little time to do some building and play with the big blocks.

I watched the class play with the parachute, too. It was fun!

I almost forgot my other news...Miles' teacher said that I can come in and spend the day with him at school!

I was so excited to tell you about preschool that I forgot that I hadn't finished off yesterday yet.

Laura came home from school first and immediately looked for me. We looked through my book of friends together.

Then she took me to read the DIS boards for a while. She mostly reads the teen and VMK boards. She sometimes looks at the photography board, too.

Miles and I cuddled under a blanket to watch a little TV.

Miles made his own library. His family and friends can borrow books. He let me sit in the librarian's seat.

We played Nick Scene-It. Beth and I wanted to play Disney Scene-It, but we were outvoted, because Beth wins that too much. I was on Miles' team. Laura won, but we were close!

I slept in Laura's bed last night. Here I am waiting for her with a couple of her friends. She has so many friends that her double bed is very crowded most nights!

This is great. Chris and I are both smiling ear to ear hearing about all the fun. I'm glad that Miles can bring him to school. It will be fun for both of them.

I am glad that you are enjoying the reports, Deb. THANK YOU, Deb, Chris, Nick, Hunter, and Colby for letting Brooksie travel the country!!!! We are having such a great time with him and really appreciate you sharing him.

Hi, all! Brooksie here again. I don't have any photos to share from yesterday, but I had a great day! Miles took me to see his school. He and his mom typed up a list of all the places I had been on my journey and also put them on a map to show his class. I told the class a few jokes and played some of my games with them. Miles was so happy that he could show me to his class.

After school we went to gymnastics. I sat with Beth and watched while Miles was out on the floor. His favorite part is vault, and I thought that was the most fun to watch, too. I also saw him on the bars and on the rings. He didn't get to go on the trampoline yesterday. He says that is very fun!

We spent a quiet evening at home. I watched Kim Possible with "the boys" while Beth and Laura watched Survivor.

Last night I slept with Laura.

I think today will be a quiet day to rest.

The boys each received a post card from Brooksie yesterday. They were so excited to get mail. I think that Hunter may have slept with his We also received our new Pal in the Mail. Nick was psyched that he has a sorcerer costume. Colby claimed him at bedtime. They are excited about Pal Mickey again. The new one came with a lanyard, but no clip. Oh well, I can borrow one from our other Pal as I can't take all 3 on our trip. Gotta save the luggage space. Speaking of luggage space, guess who has been completely dry for 8 days in a row? yep, Colby is doing great at naps and during the night. He is making it 11 hours some night. We have set up a reward system for him. For each 7 consecutive dry nights he gets a prize. I had found more Mickey Mouse clubhouse stuff after Christmas so those are the prizes. Yesterday he earned the airplane and now he is working toward the binoculars We are all so proud of him.

I just recently found out about this thread and OMG it's great. I have so enjoyed going thru to read about the travels of Pal. To see the pics of his adventures.

What a great idea this was and can only imagine how much fun it was for all of you that rec'd that package.

I have all three versions of Pal, original, HCOE and now the Sorcerer as well.

The original and HCOE have gone to the parks so many times no way to count. Original went on a DCL this past Jan with me, a friend and her Pal. Both the boys had a great time on the cruise.

This coming Sept I am going on another cruise but this time Minnie will be joining Pal and me.

Another friend has also gotten a Minnie to dress so her Pal too now has Minnie to accompany him to the parks.

Didn't mean to hijack this thread but wanted to share a few pics of my pal and now minnie. Since I live locally (Orlando) my Pal goes to the parks as often as possible.

Anyway back to topic, this thread, the pics have made me laugh, and smile to see how much fun others have had and are having with Pal Mickey.

Hope to hear more of current or future adventures.

Marsha, I'm so glad that you found your way here. I seeing pictures of all Pal Mickeys and their friends enjoying travels to WDW or anywhere else. Thanks for sharing your pictures with us. These outfits are awesome! I always enjoy going through your photo album when you add new pictures. Lucky you for living near WDW! I'm jealous! You are welcome to share pictures here anytime.

thanks. i must admit I am spoiled living so close and have the opportunity to visit WDW often.

And of course being close the stores around disney carry Disney products. I have to really watch it as I will buy and buy disney products although I don't need them <G>

I am glad to hear your enjoy my photo album. I enjoy seeing anyone's Pals all decked out, in their adventures, etc.... too.

Now that I found a Minnie about the size of Pal, I have gone so overboard buying for her, shoes, princess dresses, play outfits, bows, etc.... She is going to be one well dressed mouse along with Pal. Of course I also found the plush Mickey that goes along with my plush Minnie. So I bought him. Pal and plush Mickey can share the same clothes. Now I can dress up pal or plush mickey and plush minnie and live my childhood again LOL.

I did get a new pair of pajamas. Miles thought that I needed something that looked more like sleepwear. They are a little big but very comfy.

I went to the Cub Scout Blue and Gold dinner on Friday, but the boys decided that it would be best if I waited in the car. Here is a photo of the two Scouts in the family together. It's not the best, but it was at the end of a long night. Beth wants to get a better shot of the two of them in uniform together.

We had a fire in the fireplace over the weekend, but we didn't take any pictures.

Not much else happening here. The kids still love me, but it's all the same stuff. I'll try to post a little something here and there more often.

thanks. I so enjoy finding clothes and dressing them up. Minnie just joined our family in Feb and her wardrobe is already WAY overboard

I have so much fun with Pal since he first joined me, and now its like a parent having another child with Minnie joining us. (I have no "real" kids)

I was given an award on Saturday at MK from the Dream Squad because they just thought Pal and Minnie, my scooter basket plush key chains hanging on it, our shirts matching were so cute and fun. The certificate has Mickey and Gang autographs. So I was named Magical Marsha and rec'd the Magical Fun Award

oh here is pic of Minnie's crocs with princess jibbitz. Pal has yellow crocs like the blue ones I have seen in this thread. I am trying to find the blue crocs like Minnie's pink one so can he can have jibbitz too. But so far every Target I have checked have not one pair either blue or pink.

Ok I am so hooked on Pal and Minnie, dressing them up, buying clothes and shoes etc... someone told me I needed a 12 step program

And of course it's always way cool to find others that have as much if not more fun with Pal Mickey.

My Pal/s are a little jealous that cousins of theirs have traveled the world and they only have been to WDW and a Caribbean cruise <G>

My girls aren't going to be happy with me because I've started working on Nicky's Easter basket since he'll be home to celebrate with us this year. That is when he should be getting his puppy slippers. I just love those!!! I'm not sure what else will be in his basket but I'm working on it.

ok that is where I saw them too. I bought a pair of pj's online that have mickey on them. they are flannel, too big really but still cute. i found last year at a Disney Store in the mall, red mickey slippers.

for the cruise i took with a friend in Jan, one of her friends made sock monkey pj's for both boys. they are soooo cute.

i will have to check out the slippers again at Walmart. Of course Minnie needs her own pair too but she has a frilly night gown <G> OH my just remember minnie will need her own sleeping bag too for the cruise. Pal has his own from Build a bear.

Or if a friend can't go or don't find someone else to go with us on the cruise this Sept, maybe I could just go ahead and have them put in twin beds anyway and Minnie can have her own bed. Pal will have to sleep on couch in his sleeping bag LOL.

Guilty as charged I bought the puppy slippers at Walmart. I won't tell.

RK has a pair of dragon slippers which I bought on clearance at the Disney store before Christmas. I am not sure where my camera is or I would take a picture. You are most likely gonna have to wait until I am back from working at Rehoboth Beach before you get a picture. Unless I find the camera and remember to take and post a picture tomorrow.
