Pal Mickey (& Friends) Adventures & Fashions

I was so excited to see more pictures of Pal Mickey. I'd love to see pictures of Stitch as well. Mickey is happy to share space with his other Disney friends. Please post away. After a long, hard day, this thread makes me smile more than any other when there are pictures.

I was bad and didn't invite Mickey on this trip with me. I figured I would be very busy with work and decided he should stay home with Chuck, Becky & Minnie. I didn't give him a choice and he was a little peeved at me.

I'll bring him down next time! I'm hoping to get pictures this week-end. Patty sent him the cutest Hawaiian t-shirt and he wants to model it for everyone.

Hi Vicki -

Glad you got the shirt! Hope you enjoy many travels with it!

I just found the cutest tent for Mickey to use when we go away, he's excited to be going to WDW again in May and get to use it!

Next adventure for me is to try to make a tiny little tye dye t-shirt. It should be very interesting....

I love this thread! Can't wait to see what more stuff the PAL's will be up to!

WOW I haven't been able to get here a few days and boom look at all the new pics, and ppl busy sharing.

Love it all.

keep those pics coming of Pal or even other characters others so enjoy.

My Pal and plush Minnie will try getting to the parks this weekend. So if we do I am sure there will be pictures to share. So will post a couple here but of course majority i have on online photo album.

the number of pics i take would use up too much space if posted all here LOL.

anway keep sharing those pics, adventures etc... so much fun to see others having fun.!!!!

where did you get the tent?

I have a tent for Pal and took it on the cruise last Jan. But stupid me couldn't figure out how to put it together and there were no instructions :rotfl: so poor Pal had to sleep on couch in his sleeping bag and had no privacy from me or my friend sharing the room. Two Pal micks on couch in sleeping bag and two women in the twin beds and we didn't even close the drapery between so the boys could have privacy :rotfl2:

maybe i will get the tent back out and see if can get it together. i doubt it :goodvibes but will at least try again. of course hopefully all the pieces at in the "disney"box. :goodvibes

The tent is from the My Twinn Collection...found the website online (am I allowed to put the link? - I won't just in case, but anyone interested could p-mail or email me if they want the info I guess). They are like American Girl dolls, but a little bigger I think. But the tent is a good size. It's equal in size to the BABW tent, at least. But it was altogether when it arrived, and you simply put it up....really easy! And the rain flap was also easy - just spread the two poles crosswise, and put them into the pole holder ends, which keeps it taut - then use the plastic hooks to put the whole thing onto of the tent.

The windows and door all are zippered and even have little catches to roll up the screens and hold them down.

Bean bag chair I've had for ages...that came from Target years ago when they had AG accessories in the toy section.

way cool. can you email me the link for the tent? I bet I can come up with a bean bag chair even if that really isn't what suppose to be. they have those bean bag soccer or baseballs etc... just find one big enough for Pal to sit on, hey that would work

Stitch is glad to here he can share his photos here

I thought I was gonna be in trouble taking this picture, the employee came out and goes "What is going on out here?" After we explained what we were doing she was totally cool with it and suggested places to take pictures. I mean it was a toy and kite store after all, I'd hope they have employees who like to have fun.:thumbsup2

Love Pirate Stitch. I admit I haven't been a fan of stitch until recently. On the cruise in Jan this year there was a kid with MD and in a power chair. He and I did activities on board while others went to shore. What a great kid!!! So courageous!!!!!

Anyway, he saw my Pal with me all dressed up and asked me about this. I shared it was Pal Mickey, tour guide but I liked to dress him up in clothes I could find. Shared how much fun it was dressing Pal up, and taking him to the parks and on the cruise. At this point he wasn't carrying his stitch plush.

That night I saw him again, and he has his plush Stitch with a hat on him. So of course I said something and he said he thought it would be fun to carry stitch with him even just having the hat.

I wish I had had clothes that would have fitted his stitch but he was a rather large plush. So after seeing stitch with this kid, I saw stitch in a different way.

I know mushy story and like how could that change my view on stitch. Now when I see stitch i think of that courageous kid and what a blessing it was for me to meet him, and have time to chat, and share Pal and Stitch together.

I got mad at myself after I got home that I didn't get a picture of him with his Stitch and my Pal. Would have been nice to go into my cruise photo album. maybe I will see him on another cruise one day with his stitch all dressed up too.

Tiny tie dye is fairly easy we did 3 pal shirts and 3 pairs of socks....in fact I think some of the Pal's are wearing them in pic's on this thread!!

where did you get the shirts? do they fit Pal well like not too big or too tight?

I found some shirts cap sleeve with three snaps on back. they are loose but still work.

I am always on the look out for extra small or small tshirts but seem difficult to find in stock, and colors other than white, or those with color sleeves and shirt part white.

the socks and shirts you did look great and very colorful!!!!

babytrees - cute cute cute tie-dye things. Did you use the Rit Dye and pkg directions? Or do you have a different method?

looking for a tie-dye smilie - did not see one so this will have to do for effect.

Thanks for the tye dye pictures! I really appreciate seeing someone else's work and knowing it can be done! (so now when I fail, I'll have to keep at it until it works:lmao: )

If the weather gets warmer again, I will be doing this soon. I think it will be messy, though, so it's probably an outdoor thing....

Ummm Theresa, I think you are slightly confused. That last picture are socks not shoes. :lmao: :rotfl:

I still love the tie dye shirts & socks that you made for the pals. They have really enjoyed them.

Page 5 post 61 of this thread has pictures of the different tees that I purchased for the travelin' pals. I personally prefer the A shirts (large tees) that I bought from A Dolly's World because they are easy to get over his head and I roll them up at the bottom.

The picture of the tie dye tees that Theresa posted were some of those for Pal Mickey and the larger looking ones were large tees for Build a Bears that I also bought from A Dollys World.

ok cool. I have been buying shirts and shorts at jiminee's that seem to fit Pal well. the shirts have three snaps on back so nothing to get over his head. yeah they are a little long but still work. the pics i posted somewhere around here that are lime green with DIS logo, i got those at jiminee's.

the shorts there are "baby" size and really fit great but just look like pants not shorts. they are knit with elastic waste so very easy to get on and off.

Also Friends2B the shirts fit very snuggly but work. Most are velcro in back so again nothing to get over the head. don't try the pants from there though. no way!!! shirts there are limited though for boys. I really like the long sleeve red polo type shirt i got there. fits well with velcro back.

I have ordered some tshirts from jiminees and will let you/ppl know how they fit. the lime green shirts i bought there are cap sleeve shirts. so am thinking the tshirts won't have the snaps on back, but will be pull over. hopefully they will fit ok.

Oh I ordered from ebay a gardener outfit so can wear to flower and garden show this year <G> Haven't rec'd it yet but hope it fits. its on a starbucks bears so believe it should fit. also ordered the golf bear too. So i will have two bears without clothes LOL.

I have found shirts at Michael's and AC Moore which fit Mickey although they are a bit long. I don't feel they are too big width wise, the sleeves are more like a long sleeve than a short sleeve though. You never know what colors or designs you may find there though. I have seen purple, white, blue, red, green, designs-lime green with a daisy, yellow smiley face, beach design, etc.

yeppers I have those same shirts with smiley face, solid colors when they have them, etc...

I bought the princess dresses from Michael's for my plush Minnie. i love michael's and really need to stay out of there LOL.

if interested in more shirts check out jiminees.

i should ask michael's to lock the doors if see me coming LOL and now with Minnie to dress they have lots of girly stuff for her. at this point i believe i have bought every princess and/or fairy dress they have <G>
