That is adorable, Marsha. I am also a little jealous that you are so close to WDW. We don't even have a Disney Store within 2 hours of here!

I forgot to answer you about the pj's. I bought them at AC Moore in the dress a bear section.

I found the bunny slippers at Target, but I haven't had a chance to try them on him yet.

thanks. we don't have AC moore around here that I know of. We have Michael's and Joann's that sometimes has bear clothing.

so i need to check target for slippers and will probably check walmart too. I need a danity pair for Minnie to match her danity night gown.

glad you enjoyed the pic.:goodvibes

There is an AC Moore on Colonial Drive in Orlando. It just opened up recently, I had friends who live in that area who where super excited that it was opening. However depending where you live in Orlando this may be a drive.

When I lived in the Orlando area for 4 years while I attended UCF that was one thing I missed. Hence the reason my friends getting excited when the new AC Moore opened.

ETA: It is actually at 2999 - A E Colonial Drive; Orlando, FL 32803 and here is the phone number 407-898-5563

ok that is where I saw them too. I bought a pair of pj's online that have mickey on them. they are flannel, too big really but still cute. i found last year at a Disney Store in the mall, red mickey slippers.

for the cruise i took with a friend in Jan, one of her friends made sock monkey pj's for both boys. they are soooo cute.

i will have to check out the slippers again at Walmart. Of course Minnie needs her own pair too but she has a frilly night gown <G> OH my just remember minnie will need her own sleeping bag too for the cruise. Pal has his own from Build a bear.

Or if a friend can't go or don't find someone else to go with us on the cruise this Sept, maybe I could just go ahead and have them put in twin beds anyway and Minnie can have her own bed. Pal will have to sleep on couch in his sleeping bag LOL.

If I remember, there was a feminine looking pair of bunny slippers as well at Walmart that might go with Minnie's jammies.

How long does the PAL Mickey travel for?

Hi brady (Marsha!)!! Nice to see you over here too....

For those that are interested in a visit, the Pal Mickey's are usually there for about 3 weeks as they are in travel status for 2-3 days on each end usually. Sometimes it is more, sometimes a little less. It has been depending on what people have planned, when & how long they want him. The Pals itineraries are currently on post #3 of this thread. There are only 2 in travel mode right now. One of them will be home for a couple of months as well this summer. One will stay in travel status as long as there are people that want him to visit. If we get enough interest again, I'll get another one in travel status when needed.

So I found my camera while trying to pack today. I dislike packing so I got sidetracked.

Here is Mickey in his PJ's and Dragon slippers
DSC07636.jpg

Here he is in his vest, tie and pants from the 2007 Starbucks Valentine's Bearista bear. The white shirt will not fit because it is completely sewn the whole way around and I think altering it to get it on him would make it too small. So I need to find him a white shirt. The pants are tough to get over his feet but they do fit. The white line down his butt is from the tag that I cut off the pants, I need to see if I can cut it closer but I don't want to cut the pants.

Ooh, I bought that Bearista Bear outfit but haven't had a chance to try it on him yet. I am in the process of ripping the seam out on all the Bearista Bear pants to get rid of the tag. I'll then sew them back up while leaving a small area for Pals tail. I don't like those white tags either!! I'll let you know where I find a nice white shirt for him. I think I have one from a previous outfit.

The slippers are cute. Ok, you've motivated me. During lunch, I'm off to get pictures of Pal in the new outfits that I got for him.

hey thanks. I will use mapquest to see where it is and distance from me. I live like on the orange and seminole county line (Orlando/Altamonte Springs/Maitland/Apopka)

So probably isn't that far. I definitely need to check it out as my friend in MD got her pal some things there.

again thanks:banana:

thanks. I am sure to find something to go with her danity gown. as it seems I find more girly pink things then for boys. guess I will be going to walmart, or target this weekend :thumbsup2

OMG I love those dragon slippers. Check out jiminees.com for a white shirt. I bought the cap sleeve shirts (they snap in back) baby doll size that fit Pal. It's the lime green shirt i posted in an earlier post. I also bought knit shorts from there that fit well. Pal is wearing the shorts in that same pic with lime green shirt.

I saw on there a white shirt, they also sell a red tie, and blue jacket. I can't say for sure these will fit but they are for 18 inch dolls, or bitty baby size dolls.

Ok you better get back to packing <G> but thanks for sharing. pj's so cute and just love those slippers.

Ok here is a pic of my friends Pal and mine ready to go ride on Soarin. Both boys demand they wear their flight suits anytime we visit Epcot and plan on taking them on Soarin :goodvibes

I thought of doing that to the back of his pants but they are quite tight across his backside, so I'm not sure how that would work out. As for the shirt, if I can't get it to work for Mickey it may work for Stitch.

Stitch started out wearing this,

However I stole the shirt for PM, Brooksie borrowed it when he was here.

But Stitch can wear smaller sized stuff that doesn't quite fit Mickey, the vest was off a Six flags cowboy bear, it fits Mickey across the back but is too small in the front, the pants and boots were off a Bearista bear, they didn't fit Mickey but they fit Stitch.:thumbsup2 Stitch is hard to find things that fit because his arms and legs are so short and he has a belly and odd tail shape.

Why does Stitch need clothing because my brother wants him to go on the cruise as well as Mickey and of course Mickey can't have clothing and Stitch have none. Although Stitch might have very few shoes as his feet are so tiny.

stitch is too cute and of course if he goes on the cruise he should have clothes too <G> infant shoes? like infant 0-1 month?

Apparently he wants to go to EPCOT, I told him he needed to pick out what he wanted to do in Rehoboth

So he checked out the map of Rehoboth

Your photos are so cute. Thank you for sharing. Gives me an idea. If Pal gets to go to several beaches, we could spell out name of each beach in the sand.

See - there are others as silly about their Pals too! Lets see ...how do we spell:cool2: those names of Hawaii beaches......? :cool2: oh well, we can dream.

I love the idea of writing out the beach names and taking pictures. I may have to do that on my cruise in the fall.

Does anyone have an issue if I post picture's of Stitch as well?? He does get quite cranky because Mickey gets all the attention and is the number 1 character. I am sure he would love his own thread, but I don't think that is necessary, unless you guys want it to remain Pal Mickey only.

Don't you just love the "uh-oh" expression on Pal's face when he's looking over the rip tide information!!!!! :cool2:

We have been to Rehobeth several times over the years. Usuallly stay in Ocean City, MD so its just a hop, skip and jump away. There was a General Store on the MD / Del line Pal probably would like to visit. They used to sell a local homemade jam called Beach Plum jam. Really good.

So your Pal should try to get over to Ocean City's beaches for his next set of pictures. Doesn't he need a foamie beach visor????? :cool2:

He does own a fabric type visor with a pair of sunglasses on it. I am just a bad mouse Mom and forgot to bring it. Then again he was a last minute hitch hiker on my trip to Rehoboth for work. Not sure if I will be making it down to the beach areas anytime soon on the east coast. Only reason I was in the area was because of work. Not that I don't like the beach or anything I just don't get there very often as the closest is about 2 hours away.
