I almost won a PM on Ebay but somebody sniped me!! :sad1: I am still trying and WILL win won before I go to WDW.

Anyway, someone had posted that PM's could be purchased at a lower price from the Character Premiere Outlet but when I called today, they said, "nope." So if I can't get one on Ebay I will have to settle for paying $$$$$!!!!

:lovestruc

Start saving your pennies! :yay: PM is worth every cent - just in smiles alone!

........and worth every photo op you place him in!

That is so true. The characters love him and spend more time with you. (in most cases) Just keep him out of sight with Donald!!!!!:lmao:

COOL!

that chair is too cute!:hyper:

I found the chair in Cape May. I think I spent about $7 for it. If I go down there again I can pick one up for you if you want. Unless you think that constitutes making a mercy trip for yourself!!!:lmao: :rotfl2:

Chucky went with Stephanie and I to the Mega Mouse Meet. He really liked my sleep number bed. Of course I was in the dog house for a while because I forgot him and had to go back home

He met Tig Tag. Her mommie has some really cute outfits for her.

I am so happy. For my birthday my DH bought me 3 Pal Mickey outfits (pirate, tourist, & rain poncho). I was so excited since I don't sew and wanted clothes for him. I can't believe how hard the pirate boots are to get on him. The jacket was difficult too. I wonder why they don't use velcro. Does anyone have any ideas where I can find a shirt or vest or something to go under the jacket for the pirate outfit?

oh my gosh - TigTag has Mickey gloves!!!!

The Build-a-Bear at Disneyland has an outfit with Mickey tee, Mickey hands and ears. You can only get them at Disneyland from the BAB at Disneyland. I had someone pick up a set for me a couple of years ago.

You can buy blank tees from adollysworld.com that would work. They are a little big but I like them that way because they are easier to get on over his head. I just tuck them in his pants (or roll them up underneath). Craft stores like Michael's have blank tees usually too.

We're thinking of getting a Pal Mickey on our next trip in 26 days. (by the way , can you by them at the Pop Century gift shop?)

Anyway, I saw the posts about loosing him and I've also read other places that he can be hard to hear in noisy places, so I thought - what about wearing him like a backpack?

I'm not really sure if that's possible since I've never really seen one or held one. And how could I make this backpack / Pal sling thing so that I can get it on him after we get to Disney?

Yes, you can buy him at Everything Pop. That is where I got my SM version and they completed a really cool adoption certificate when I got him!

I wear my PM attached to one of the straps of my backpack. He comes with a belt clip and a lanyard. I just hook the belt clip to the strap above the adjustment buckle...voila - hands free!

What type of batteries should I bring and would I need to refresh them on a seven day trip?

Where is the clip on PM? The back of his neck maybe?

Thanks,
Melani

He takes AA batteries. I turn him off when we're not at the parks and his batteries lasted a year. (your milage may vary)

The clip is removable and slides into a loop located on the back of his head behind one of his ears.

Should I have the camera ready when we go to "adopt" him?

We're getting in so late on Sat. nite that I thought instead of trying to do anything at the parks, we'd just get aquainted with our hotel..As a surprise I thought we could get a Pal Mickey.

What should we do with him on Splash Mountain and Kali River?

Sure, you never know when a photo op will present itself - maybe the CMs will pose with you :)

I use a ziploc baggie (gallon sized) to keep him dry on water rides and during rain storms. Of course, he has his own rain coat with matching hat and umbrella!
