I was in the Once Upon A Toy store at Downtown Disney this week and noticed they have added a clothing accessory line for Pal Mickey. There are 4 different costumes including a retro yellow poncho with rain boots, a Pin Trader outfit, a Safari Mickey, and a Mickey Mouse Club outfit.

The yellow poncho outfit was definitely the cutest and practical too for those trips down Splash Mountain or Kali River Rapids with your PM.

Each of the outfits was $10.

If anyone has pics I'd love to see the MMC outfit. :earsboy:

Oh, wow! Cannot wait to get these for our PM!!! We will be getting the new one in August and these will be an extra surprise!! How clever to have a rain outfit. Hope that it will keep him dry!!! Don't want him to catch cold from the wet!! :rotfl2:

I love the idea of the poncho. I guess our Mickey will be getting a new outfit this year !!

How very neat.
We dressed our Pal Mickey oursleves. He had a Christmas sweater, hat and scarf on the whole time we were there.
It made him feel special! :cool1:

A few days ago I saw some on Ebay!!!! I was looking for a 50th pal mickey and saw some clothing for him!!!

Here is our Pal Mickey. He is all dressed for Christmas and sitting by the fountains as Coronado Springs Resort.

Who is saying I need a life? :rotfl2:

For those of you that said you need to get a life dont feel bad there is actually a club for grown up owners of pal mickeys and most of us have a variety of clothing and accessories for our pals. I would encourage you to visit palmickey.net and join in the madness (i mean fun)

That Christmas outfit is adorable!
I need to get some outfits for my Pal Mickey! ::MickeyMo

What a wonderful idea these outfits are! One time my husband made our Pal Mickey a rain poncho (complete with hood) out of a yellow shopping bag and attached it with a rubberband around his neck. He stayed lovely and dry.

I knew it was only a matter of time before they came out with clothes ::MickeyMo That Christmas outfit is definitely adorable!!

I totally agree and so does DD. Just told her about the outfits and we both want the rain coat. Just got mine in November and think it's one of the coolest things. Although when we were standing in line for Soarin we were listening to what he was saying and the little girl behind us said "look they have a pal Mickey" so we showed it to her and her parents. I said that it was worth every penny because we were having so much fun with him. The parents asked how much he was and when we told them, they looked at us like we were crazy. Then they rolled their eyes and with a lot of attitude said they would never spend that much on a stuffed animal. My DH looked at them and said with a smile "That's why you don't have one". But the little girl looked so sad that she wouldn't be getting one. My feeling is you shouldn't put someone down for spending their money the way they want to. We love our PM and will be bringing him back this November. With new clothes!!!!!!

Thanks for letting us know about the new outfits!!! :flower3:

Thanks for the news! There'd been talk of outfits before I went in June, and I was disappointed they didn't have them out then. Although I spent enough money that trip, so this'll be a nice starter purchase for my next trip. :goodvibes

I love Donald more than any other Disney character (hence the screenname), but can you imagine trying to understand anything a Pal Donald said while in the middle of hordes of theme park visitors? :rotfl2: That being said, I still want one to be made. :teeth:

I agree I have loved donald since I bit off his fingers when I was small. Stuffed with plastic gloved fingers. I still have him. He used to chat but not anymore. He is about 42 years old. I could hardly understand him then I can imagine what he would sound like as I have a hard time understanding/hearing Mickey in the parks.

I share my Mickey with the kids in the parks also I make him speak to them. I squeeze him when they seem tired or are cranky. I then ask them what Mickey said as He hasnt spoken to me all day. He is mad I wouldnt ride dumbo with him. :rotfl2:
