Pain from chiropractor?

Glad to hear it worked for your daughter. It didn't work for me. Furthermore, she didn't refer to it as Kinesiology, but the B.E.S.T. practice.

To the best of my knowledge as a lay person- so I could be wrong! B.E.S.T. incorporates Kinesiology as part of the process. That's where the adjusting the feet inward and outward and the counting come from. It has something to do with opening and closing meridians? I can't explain how it works. I just know it's worked for us!

OP Speaking as a chiro patient and a massage therapist it sounds to me like the pain you're experiencing is a result of you tightening up. But that doesn't let the chiro off the hook. They should have prepared you better for the adjustment. Explaining how it would feel, massaging you to loosen you up and even using distractions.

I think you are right about me tightening up. I agree with what you are saying. He really didn't prepare me for what was about to happen, despite me stating I was nervous and had never been adjustment before. I was very freaked out...
