So this morning hooked back up to the IV, been off since Monday. Prepping for Total Body Irradiation. This is the last step before my transplant tomorrow and this is the step that will wreck the most havoc on my body. Having been in the Nuclear Field for a part of my life I am familiar with how my body can respond to this. Hope for the best.
I know this will cause me to be tired for the upcoming week, but it is necessary for the transplant. So let's rock on today.

Maybe I can paint the hospital room with a 1 inch brush....that should take awhile. Looks like I will have the Shuttle done either tomorrow, or part way thru Saturday.

Prayers the transplant goes smoothly

So today is Day Zero, Transplant Day. My nurses have decorated my white board with Happy Birthday. I don't look at it so much as a new birthday, but as a reboot of an old system. Transplant is simple, they bring in the bag and hang it like blood, it goes in to my IV, done.
Feeling good this morning. After breakfast some lego building and hanging out in the room.

Was texting with Jenn this morning. Chris running a fever today, very tired, and sleeping. This is not unusual given the recent treatment plan. Wasnt sure if he was going to feel like posting today or not but just wanted to update everyone.

Tomorrow starts my last round of chemo, two days and that should be it. Now just for my body to recover.
