What do you pack for your LO's and do you ship down a box?

We usually ship a box with baby food (don't need that this time) bottles (don't need those this time) diapers and wipes.

Then I bring with me ~ benadryl (DD2 is allergic to everything), tylenol, motrin and cough syrup. I am always paranoid of them getting sick while we are on vacation.

Of course clothes and what not..... but how about books and coloring books and movies?? How much do you bring?

Just curious if there is anything that I am not thinking of that might make our lives easier with the two LO's (3.5 and 1.5)

Thanks!

When we travelled with DD as a toddler, we took everything necessary. We didn't ship anything prior to going there. We also brought small toys, coloring books, crayons, bubbles. Not a whole lot though because we knew we'd be purchasing Disney items for her to play with too.

Travelling with kids can be challenging. I have never had to ship anything there, but I have had to ship stuff home. We got a little carried away with souveniers the first time we went:blush:
One tip that might help, is we have used the space saver bags, the small ones that you don't have to have a vacuum to seal it. We used it to pack all of my DD's princess dresses. Those things are bulky and take up a lot of space, but with the spacesaver bags I used one bag and fit all of her dresses (4 or 5) in the zipper pocket on the front of her suitcase.
Hope this helps!

Forgot to add... last trip we brought them each a bucket, shovel and watering can along with some small cloth balls. I spent my whole pool time retrieving them from other kids who seemed to think it was their right to take toys from my 10 month old.... and their parents seemed to have NO problem with it either. *sigh* so I don't know if I will do that again.

We don't do souviners.... pretty much at all. DD knows better and will usually only ask for a balloon. :) Lucky me huh?

Last time we also did laundry there... which was helpful too... man the little buggers go through a lot of clothes.

My guy (10 mos) is pretty happy playing with random things so I don't feel the need to take too many toys. He'll be happy with a straw, a spoon, and some water bottles, lol.

My little guy has his own little toiletterie case (from a non-disney trip) with a thermometer, a small tube of diaper cream, a small tube of vaseline and some medicines (just in case).

We leave next week and I'm not sending anything. I figure I'll use the room in the suitcase for presents on the way back.

I'll tell you what I wished I had during our Dec trip- Clorox wipes. DD8 got a stomach bug on our last night and I was desperately trying to clean off the bathroom after each occurance:sad: . The rest of us still needed the bathroon too! Next time I'll have them and a small bottle of windex too!::yes::

I don't pack a box myself to send ahead but use Diapers.com to cover all the formula, diapers, pull ups, wipes, take n toss sippy's, etc. There's always codes for free shipping and $10 off orders of $50+ which talking diapers, et all doens't take long. You can check their site and they say what day the box will be received.
