Packing snacks

I've just started packing. I have an overnight bag for pre-cruise hotel stay, large suitcase, and beach bag for embarkment day bag. Where do my movie snacks need to be packed? I remember beverages needed to be in day bag, but what about boxes of candy?

Wherever you want to put them. Any chocolate stuff, I'd suggest putting in your carry on bag. Often checked bags are sitting the sun (getting hot), and that could get messy.

I have to take snacks for my T1D DD. I pack the PB, peanuts, granola bars, crackers, etc. in our luggage. Anything heat sensitive I pack in my carry on.

Hey another parent of a T1 here! Any trip we go on we do a split. We pack enough snacks for a day in our carry on and pack bulk snacks in tupperware type bins in our checked bags. That way we are covered in case there is a delay getting our bags.

I'm going to run into a problem come September when I have a ton of candy from the Halloween Party from the night before. I'll definitely be throwing it all in my backpack because sometimes the luggage sits outside the ship for a while and that cannot be good for chocolate.

I often bring boxes of the movie theatre size candy that you can get for $1 a box like Milk Duds, SnoCaps, Good N Plenty, etc. I love when our grocery store has a sale on those. I usually pack those in my carry on but if we are cruising from NY in the Fall I just put them in my luggage in a zip lock bag.
