Packing Question

I am only going to be bringing a carry on for my next trip to US. For the 3-1-1, do the liquids, gels ect. need to be in clear bottles or can they be the travel size personal products sold at CVS, ect.?

They do not need to be in clear bottles. I travel with little bottles I buy from a discount store all the time in their original bottles.
