Packing for the first week of December

When I fly out of Boston, anytime after late Oct, I always fly in jeans, turtleneck with a fleece pullover on top of that. Then, I carry my flannel lined windbreaker with me. On my feet are a pair of heavyish socks (Ragg type) and my Crocs. As soon as I get to my resort, I start peeling off clothing. However, I have my jeans, turtleneck and fleece pullover/windbreaker for those chilly evenings and I haven't used up a lot of valuable space in my bags. I pack a few more socks, a sweatshirt, short sleeved tees, and some shorts.

I think this a great idea! I plan on packing mostly jeans, short sleeve t-shirts with pull-overs/hoodies to go over them for mornings/evenings. I also will pack a few pairs of shorts and capris. I have a great fleece jacket from Land's End that is water repellant and is warm enough for anything above 40 degrees. If it gets colder, I'll layer a sweatshirt underneath it.

I see you're from NH.
Maybe you just have "warm feet"... but for other lurking here...

Remember that walking for hours outside at WDW is not like the few minutes you may be outside at home.

If you "pick a spot" and hold it for a period of time before a parade and/or fireworks, you could be standing in (sometimes) bitter damp winds for 45 minutes to an hour.

Sandals?

Maybe with thick socks.

I don't take off my sandals until I am getting my feet wet with the snow. I hate the feeling of sneakers. Sandals are my savior. I could walk in mine all day. I usually put them away in November or December sometime unitl the snow starts to disappear then they come out again.

I will be bringing a sweatshirt though and thin gloves since my hands get cold fast, hats for my boys at night for their ears. I'm not stupid, I just live in the mountains in NH where it has been topping 60 degrees during the day since the middle of August.

Thanks for all the tips for December packing!

Gotta tell ya... I'm REALLY looking forward to not sweating!
