Packing and Luggage

There is a couple of things we want to take but are worried it might cause us problem. Can we pack the following in our cargo luggage:

Tea Bags
Persil Tablets

(I had heard of you declare these you will probably have your luggage searched?)

Also a penknife (I bought H a folding rod n reel and it comes with a penknife)

You will be fine to pack the tea bags and persil in your hold luggage, we packed nibbles and stuff in our with no problem at all, not too sue about the knife though.

Like Kaylee said you should have no problems with the Tea bags or Persil. I have packed these on a few occasions.
I am not sure about the the pen knife either.

Penknife is fine in checked baggage.

It is an absolute no-no in carry on.

Hi all I gave my DH a nasty fright a couple of years ago !i packed the usual PG tips and some very suspicious looking white powder in a poly bag. When DH decided he was going to do some unpacking he went as white as the powder until he realised it was only persil
