I still have no packet, no number and no waiver. I saw where Lily posted that we can always go to the expo with just our photo ID and get a blank waiver, but then you have to do the race without a number. Do they give you a note to keep the race police from yanking you out because you don't have a number. Do you pin the note to your shirt? Will they refuse to give you water at the water stations because you have no number. Oh the shame of being packet challanged!

Please sign -in if you have no packet.

My name is Robert and I have no packet:(

You can get a waiver at the expo and than go stand in line to find your number and than go back in another line to get your packet. You get penalized by having to deal with another line and grief. Email DisneySports@emmi.com and request another packet be sent out. I had to do this for 07 and will do again for 08. I refuse to waste more of my time because they can't get me a packet by mail. Stand up and fight for your packet. Email them today! YARC Rules:thumbsup2

:grouphug: My name is Charles and I have not had a packet for 12 months. Thanks to my support group and the USPS I am sure to not have one today either.

Though I do know my numbers after driving a certain fellow named steve a little crazy.

As I read this various thoughts race through my mind:

First - I am in elite status and that Disney is saving the best packets for last. Dave and Robert don't have their packets and they are minor dieties in Disney marathon communites. Perhaps mine will be the packet with the golden ticket! oh wait, thats the peachtree....

Second - Who is this steve and where can I find him? I want numbers!

Third - Arrive at WDW without a packet? I don't think Disney can handle me if I don't have a packet!

Fourth - no one in North Atlanta has received a packet so perhaps our batch is still out there. Great, WE have the crazed postal worker this year! The one who is hoarding the packets (insert evil laugh)

Fifth - Well, there is comfort in knowing they won't start the race without Robert and Dave. Heck they ARE the Goofy challenge. I am ok. I am ok. breathing deeply.....

**Pityful Panda** My offer still stands. One Half Marathon packet with number (Corral C) and waiver for only a slight premium. Let me know.

**Pityful Panda**My hero and mentor. For anyone but you, my offer still stands. One Half Marathon packet with number (Corral C) and waiver for only a slight premium, but for you just the honor of you walking with my number is payment enough. Let me know.

Bill your offer is very nice but I will get my packet, I have to think positive. With Robert and Charles twisting arms and me whinning we can make this happen.

Packet oh Packet, Where is My Packet Panda:hippie:

Literary Licence Panda I am amazed at how your quotes of my posts seem to say exactly what I am thinking, but not what I type in my posts.:confused3

Bill there is just no telling what us Ky Redneck Walkers will do. But since no one is shooting at me anymore life is good.

Did I tell you about the time I was summened to the Base Commanders office because he thought I was recruiting for the Klan?

I was taking night classes to get my BA in Social Psy. I was taking a class in minorty relations, and a hand out was a copy of an actual KKK application for membership. Appearantly while I was studying I had left that out in the open while I stepped out and someone picked it up. I had to get the instructor to call and get it straightened out. He was going to have me court martialed. If it's gonna happen it will happen to me.

I'm Karla and I have no packet. This is the first time in my life I've even NEEDED a packet and yet, no packet. Truthfully, I'm not even entirely sure what my packet IS, but I know I want it. I want it BAD.

Ode to My Packet

Wherever you are, wherever you go.
Whether basking in sunshine or buried in snow.
Please find your way through the U.S. of A.
Appear in my mailbox and brighten my day...

Sniff...sniff...

:wave2: Hi Packet! See you soon!

Got the half packet which ironically, I don't need any longer. Still waiting on the Goofy packet. I still attack the mailman every day and sulk on my way back to the house with no packet.

My mailman is afraid of me. He insists I stay away from the mailbox until he drives away. He has even taken to having a person ride shotgun! (Can he be called shot gun when he is technically on the drivers side?) I guess I shouldn't have gone to the mailbox in my black tights, black jacket and Dh's black cycling mask on my face the other day....

Karla - I loved your ode to your packet. I am sure where ever your packet is, it is trying to get to you as fast as possible.

Thanks Commandos! Let me know if the mission is successful!

Cecilia

Add me to the list of the pitiful packetless. I'm expecting 4, but we booked through a travel agent and the word on the street is that it takes longer when you do it that way. I know I'm in the last group, but it would so nice to get an official number.

I'm typing this as I sit staring out the window watching for the mailman to come down the street, completely unaware that I'm stalking him. I'll be at the mailbox before his arm leaves the truck...

I'm Jackie, and I HAVE NO PACKET!

I am sorry but I have to leave the group now as I don't belong:banana:

I got my packet today:) # 24869 for 1/2 & 9266 for Full :thumbsup2 .

Funny thing I am 1 number less than Linda. She is always 1 number less than me because L vs. R ::confused3

Oh Panda,

Seeing that it might be better if you had a program to occupy your time thus not giving you the opportunity to devise schemes to cause havoc with the princesses, I sacrificed myself and went to Disney today.

I exclaimed loudly that the Great and Mighty Panda requires his packet immediately or bad things would happen. I just got strange looks from people but no responses. Hopefully that meant they were properly intimidated and went to ensure your packet is in your hands by the end of the week.

Bill
