I also made another A-line (and I've got a few more in mind too
). I've been thinking about this one for a while. I had thought about doing a roundneck but was afraid it wouldn't fit my DD perfectly and I'd be disappointed. I'm pretty happy with how this came out. My DD(9) will wear this to Chef Mickey's when my DD(5) wears her Mickey Mouse Clubhouse skirt. I also have plans to make my DS(7) a bowling shirt for Chef Mickey's.
I can't decide if I like the daisy buttons. I think I might like black & white better.
Oh and here is what I did to make it. I used the Simply Sweet top pattern to use as a guide for were to cut the A-line pattern for an empire waist.
Instead of cutting the front & back on the fold I used a rotary cutter and ruler to add a 1/4 inch to that edge of the pattern as I cut it with the cutter. I also added the 1/4 to the top of the skirt and bottom of the bodice with the ruler as I cut with the rotary cutter.
