Package question...

I don't know if this is the right place, I have a question about packages. Is it possible to book a package with dining, but have someone leave halfway and have someone else arrive halfway? I have a conference in January, and my mom is coming down with me and my daughter so we can spend some time in wdw before th conference starts. They are going to fly home after the weekend, and my work partner is coming down for the conference. Do you know if I can book us all on one reservation package? And not pay for each person for the entire 9 days? Thanks!

I don't believe so. As far as I know, if booking a package everyone has to be on the package the whole time. If I'm wrong, I'm sure someone will be by to correct me.

Everyone who is on the package before your arrival date has to have the same entltlements for the entire length of the package. If your DM and DD need tickets with fewer days than you, make the tickets for the number of days they need; you can add additional days for yourself after you arrive.

If you want the dining plan for only the days the 3 of you will be there, you will need to make 2 separate reservations. As long as you book the same resort and room category you can link the 2 reservations and Disney will do their best to let you stay in the same room. You will have to go the lobby to check out and check back in the day your family leaves and your work colleague arrives.

If you want the ddp for full stay you can. Pretty sure you can use up the extra credits with no issues. Any guest replacing other guest would not be able to use their key for food credit charges.

Only persons on original reservation can use credits but the extra nonused credits could be applied to other dining for any of the original guests. Essentially giving you more opportunities for ts meals.
