We are going to the world in October. First time we have not used a TA. We have our ressie at POFQ and ult PH pass through CRO (code CLN). I got info from POFQ--personal trip planning brochure--is this something new? We never got something like this from Disney when we booked thru a TA (AAA). Included was a paper that stated we would love the Resort Magic Package. Does anyone know if the CLN code included the RMP? I just thought it was the room and pass. Cool if it's the package.

We booked our own flight.
Should we contact Mears ahead of time (was always a part of AAA package) or can we just get our shuttle ticket when we get to the airport in Orlando?

Thanks for any help.

The code you booked is the room plus UPH package. I would call cro and ask if it is the resort magic, that would be nice to get the flex feature too!

If you didnt add the ground transfers with Mears in with your package with cro, then yes, you will have to call mears yourself and book it. or you can call cro and have them add it on.

have fun! :)

5 days til sailing on Disney's Magic, 7 night Eastern Caribbean !!!!!!! :) :) :)

Did Mears change? - I haven't used anything but Tiffany Towncar for a few years but it used to be that you just bought your ticket for them when you got to Orlando - the booths were right outside the baggage claims. I don' t think you even could call ahead.

This is probably me just not keeping up with the times!

The booth is still there at the airport, but I don't know if you can just go up and buy a ticket when you get in. We have always had it as part of our package--that's why I was wondering...

You can just buy your transfer passes upon arrival at MCO. DH and I did that on a (literal) spur-of-the-moment trip in July 01. We bought the round trip passes at the desk there at the airport.

Just wondering-Are you set on using mears? We have used mears and tiffany and liked tiffany much better. With tiffany, the driver meets you at luggage claim, helps you with your bags. will make a grocery stop free of charge, AND take you straight to your resort. With Mears we had to wait at the airport until the van was filled then stop at several resorts on the way to ours. Also, it was cheaper for our family of 4 to use Tiffany(with a coupon off the internet)
