I though I read somewhere that there are cribs or pack-n-plays stored in one of the closets in the Fort Wilderness Cabins. Is this still true? If not, are there bars or some type of restraint system for the bunk beds? I'll have a 2 and 3 year old there an am trying to figure out sleeping arrangements for two adults and the two kids.

Thanks!

Pack n play in the closet;

No restraints, but bunk are low and solid IMO. Nice full size bed next to the bunks.

We love the cabins; husband and I sleep I. Murphy bed in living room, kids in bedroom.

as pp said pack& play in the closet. it can get crowded with the pack& play in the bed room but if it is just the 4 of you, I would think about having adults sleep in living room on the murphy bed. that way you can get ready for bed without waking the little ones as you want to go to bed

We went at Christmas with 5,5,3 and 18 (plus DH and me).

The pack n play was in the closet, but our kids are too big for that.

The 18 year old slept in the double bed in the bedroom with the two five year olds. One night the 5 year old on the top bunk changed her mind and didn't want to sleep on the top bunk (it did have great railings though). We picked the mattress up and moved it to the floor. Took two minutes tops to get it set up down there.

The three year old has bedtime issues - he won't go to bed :confused3:rotfl: So we pushed the couch up next to the Murphy bed and laid him out on that. You can also ask for bed rails if you want to put one in a bigger bed.

There are a lot of options with only four people sharing the cabin.
