Has anyone been to the Pac Man Cafe on I-Drive? My DS10 saw it in a pamphlet and is bugging me to go. How is the food? Were there a lot of games? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Couple of grown up kids here that were curious about the place too, anyone have any info to share? :earsboy: :earsboy:

My dh loves Ms. Pac Man . I like some info on this also.

DS is an absolute PAC Man fanatic. I'm curious too and haven't seen anything posted either. Since they're in the Entertainment book we planned on trying it out for one of our non Disney dinners. If we go next week I'll post about.

Thanks for the link mantysk8coach. I think a couple of young grown up kids might be checking this place out in November!

looks like nobody's been. I'm planning to stop there after my day at Discovery Cove.

I'll be sure and post upon my return.

Thanks for the link. I wonder if this is something like Disney Quest

I walked past it in January.

It just looked like a cafeteria.

I feel sorry for Pointe Orlando,it is very run down.

I thought the Pac-Man Cafe was a fairly decent diner with retro arcade games and newer ones. I resented having to purchase another credit/play card after my timed play card ran out, and one of the guns in a game didn't work for me, but the dessert was awesome. I would love to show you my picture of me and the Great Yellow Wonder outside.

Splendid Good Pac-Man Is Be!

We really liked the pacman cafe. Food was good, great service and I have to agree that the dessert was wonderful! Me and my family love pacman but there were plenty of other games as well. I would definitely return!-Donna

Sorry to rain on anyone's parade, but PacMan Cafe closed last week, as part of the big renovation at Pointe Orlando.

According to the paper, no one is sure if how permanent this is. There's a sign on the door, but it gives even less information. Pointe Orlando really needs something to turn it around--I'd swear FAO Schwartz closed years ago and is still sitting empty--hopefully this is a first step in the right direction.

Awww... dont rain on my parade..... :umbrella: Im sad to here this information. Well thank you for the update though, its appreciated. Perhaps it will reopen by november? hahahaha... *when you wish... upon a staaaaaar* :wizard:

No idea when, or even if, it will re-open; there's just a piece of paper on the door with very little real info. I'm usually in Pointe Orlando around once a week, I'll post any updates.

DID SOMEONE SAY THAT FAO SCHWARTZ HAS CLOSED? I hope not, my grandson is going to be so disappointed, we are stay on I drive next week and he loves going there.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings again, but FAO Schwartz closed a while ago, maybe even two years ago. Of course, they didn't take down the giant blocks and teddy bear until recently, so I'm sure that caused a lot of confusion. That was probably the beginning of the downhill slide for Pointe Orlando that they are only now starting to address.

Yes, I think it was 2 years ago. In fact, my local FAO Schwartz in a mall closed around the same time.
