P&P Party tickets

I think they have all been cancelled. Did you see the hours have been changed. MK is now closing later than what originally was on the schedule.

I am planning on calling tomorrow morning to see if I can get my ADRs and will mention the tickets again.

I don't know if this is accurate or not but I called this morning for my CRT and Chef Mickey ADR's for late May/early June. I asked about the P&P party on June 3rd cause I wanted to do our CRT dinner on the same day. The CM said it was still happening. I realize I need to take everything with a grain of salt right now but there you go.

According to the Ultimate Disney World Savings Guide 2009
"The Pirate and Princess Party has 2009 dates: February 20, 27; March 8, 12, 20, 27; April 1, 22: May 1, 8 15, 20, 25, 30; June 3. Boys and girls enjoy coming dressed as Pirates or Princesses and use a treasure map to search for candy and beads. Pirates may try their hand at swashbuckling. A themed parade and fireworks adds to the event that takes place at Magic Kingdom from 7 pm to midnight. A special event ticket is required."

I am bumming about the news. I have not been to Disney in 2 years and will have two chances this year. I will be there in Jan. for 6 days and 2 days in March and it seems the March 12th one will be cancelled. That really stinks I will keep hoping and have my fingers and toes crossed!

Called to try to make my ADRs and as said it is only up to the 22nd of March still. Was so fed up I didn't even try to check on the party tickets. Stupid snow has me depressed and in a bad mood. Hopefully tomorrow I'll feel better and can try back again.

We changed our travel plans so we could finally do the party and were so looking forward to the party in March. I am so bummed now if this is the case. I truly hope not, but it sounds like it might be.

Hi there -
Like all of you I'm anxiously awaiting the news about the P&PP parties. So whether it's reading tea leaves or just looking for any sign to encourage my hope I will throw out something I noticed -

On the new disney ads about celbrating in 2009...the ad shows the boy celebrating with pirates and a parade that looks like one from the P&PP...seems to me if they were cancelling the parties altogether this ad would be way off...like I said just noticed it and have wishful thinking.

I know how you feel about depressing weather - we are freezing here, too. Icy roads and -2° in the middle of the day is no fun.

yeah, they were totally wrong that the ADRs would open up Dec 1 and even though it's Dec 2 and they're clearly NOT open, they still have it posted in several places on the Mom's board! So their credibility is shot.

Just out of curiosity, did you know most of the 2008 Moms Panelists are DISers?

Same with the new 2009 panel.

Look, bashing the mom's panel isn't going to make things better. They are independant of Disney and only go by rumors like everyone else. Even if they get an inside lead, it could still change. It isn't going to get us the party by complaining about them. Yes, they have been wrong in the past and could be wrong about this.

Are they really DISers? Where did you find that out?


Now lets hope we all get our dates for the party. I have one chance at all and it may not be looking good for March 12th I am not losing hope though!

Pirate and Princess Party Changes Again
Yes, we all thought with the rumored dates being passed around the internet that there were going to be Pirate and Princess Parties for 2009. Alas, it seems that we were wrong. The parties, as of right now, will not be happening in 2009.
