Ok, overwhelmed in two ways.
First, being overwhelmed in life by having elderly parents who are both ill.
So, needing a late night, sit at the computer distraction.
Luckily, after a v. v. brief, one day visit to Animal Kingdom last week, I realized I am going to be overwhelmed by planning a longer, two week trip in February. In addition, we will be doing a short visit Dec. 25-28 both this year and next year. We've never gone to the parks over the holidays (however, we typically stay at a DVC resort during this time while visiting my parents) but with the two week visit in February, we are planning on getting annual passes this year (probably first use them on either the 26th or 27th) so that we can also use them for a couple of the following year over the holidays.
I am so confused by the fast pass + system (do you really choose just one thing? and then they automatically give you a show and character greeting?). Where should we eat in the parks? What to see and do in December? Where to start?!?!
I know, I know, first things first. Begin to prioritize, make a list, set guidelines and peramaters.
We are DINKS from Seattle who have been to WDW and DL many times (though prefer DL for the size and feel), DLP once, DCL three times. We are DVC members. My parents live north of Orlando.
We will be staying at Saratoga Springs December 25-28, 2016; early February for two weeks, December 25-28, 2017.
Typically, we eat in the room for breakfast and lunch before going out. We like to have sit down dinners, and are fine with eating at the bar.
If we don't do rides in December, it's fine, but we would like to see decorations and things that are different during the holidays.
So.... where to begin?
