and then look out! We decided after our last trip (Nov 06) that we would wait 5 years before going back, well I broke my husband and we are going back Nov 08 with the promise that the next vacation would be someplace tropical! I am an overplanning nut case! I just checked the hotel situation and the Paradise Pier has room the week we are planning, so that is good. I am thinking this time though maybe add something different to the trip maybe a side trip to Universal Studios. Since we have never done that before can some one advise me the best way to get there, are there buses that come to the hotel or should we hire a car, how far is it?

Also looking for some advise on the tours around LA, any suggestions there?

I don't know of any tours around LA but I can tell you the drive to universal studio's from Anaheim is super easy. It's a straight line with I think one lane change all the way there. Plus, if you go to Universal on a weekend you can stay late and watch them film a movie or tv series, if you take the bus you won't have that option because the bus doesn't stay late.

Universal is an easy drive depending the time of day and the day of the week. One time it takes 55 minutes the next time 2 hours. We hit UHS everytime we go to SoCal. Big monster movie freaks.
