Shucks, I got busy and missed saying Goodbye and Safe Travels. Also belated Happy Birthday to Hunter!
You will be absolutely amazed at the Mississippi River. It is just amazing to think about the sheer volume of water speeding down that thing. We drove up yesterday to see the Morganza and the Old River Control structure and that was fascinating. Seeing the river, which is normally in its banks miles away, right up to the top of those levees was scary. (The levees in that area are set back some distance away from the bank of the river.)
Hope you had an uneventful trip and are sleeping peacefully in your happy place now. My daughter and her family are on the other side of town at the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal now but they will be coming home tomorrow.
Enjoy the "birthday dinner" at Rainforest Cafe tomorrow and do some good shopping too!

As you can well imagine, I have tons of clothes to wash and suitcases to unpack so I probably won't start the trip report for a few days.

We had a great time and are already starting to plan next year's trip.
