Over the river and through the FUN!

WOW!!! everything looks so YUMMY!!!

Update: I pick up my "new" car tomorrow. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I dropped off my license plates today and the salesman asked what is this? It was my WDW plate frame. He asked "do you want this on the car?" I said "ofcourse, you don't know me that well". LOL

all of that food looks good but the OJ looks the best to me. :confused3 :rotfl2:

These food pictures make me wish I would be eating for two again this trip. I hope to get some yummy treats like those with my snack credits or at least use some of my children's credits!

As MeMom eluded my breakfast at Starring Rolls was not the best. If you have ever been to Starring Rolls you know how small the inside is. We got inline outside and then John decided he would take Brooklynn and go sit down once he knew what he wanted. I went in and scoped it out for him so he could decide. In the back was a tray containing two apple turnovers and a CM was refilling the tray next to it with cherry turnovers. I decided I wanted an apple turnover but I would of course wait until it was actually my turn in line. I went back out and got in line with MeMom. When we got to the back the apple turnover tray was empty. I asked the CM if she would be refilling them and she told me they were out. :scared1: I couldn't contain my surprise. Out of apple turnovers 15 minutes after the park opened. How is that possible?!?!?!   I was in shock and then couldn't decide what to get. I didn't want anything else except that apple turnover. A woman and man were talking behind us about the fact he wanted an apple turnover and couldn't believe they were out. I turned around to agree and the woman felt so bad because here I was pregnant and all I wanted was an apple turnover. I finally settled on a chocolate croissant just to have something to eat. I decided I would get my apple turnover before we left, but as you will find out the apple turnover still eluded me.

MeMom - you must go to Disney in March and bring me back an apple turnover. I desperately need one now that I have relived this traumatizing experience!

I just love the TSM line! I could spend quite a bit of time just looking at everything.

Yum Yum, I could go for one of those treats with my coffee this morning. I can't decide between the chocolate croissant and the chocolate muffin...

*SIGH*, off to pour myself a boring bowl of cereal (and not double dipped chocolate ones either)

Now that is a long trip to fill a craving! A good trip though; on eI'm sure MeMom would be up to.

Oh wow - your post actually convinced me to sneak into our office kitchen and swipe a cinnamon roll left over from a morning meeting. The one you had from Starring Rolls looks 1,000 times better though!

My bagel is just not cutting it now. Those pastries look so yummy. How can they run out of apple turnovers so quickly!?

I love the pictures of Toy Story Mania - I'm so excited to try it on this trip. :yay:

Seeing your pictures of HSM reminds me that this will be our first trip having actually seen all of the movies and I think we'll enjoy their performance that much more because of it. :thumbsup2

Isn't Toy Story Mania the coolest? I had such a poor score but loved all of the scenery so didn't care that much. I can't wait to show the kiddos. And yum on your treats! Talk about a sweet tooth. ;) I'll take the chocolate muffin please. I'm sorry they were out of apple turnovers Jill!

Just saw your update...Yesterday was really busy and I didn't get on much! Toy Story Mania looks amazing! DHS has EMH mornings our first full day there so we are going to try to make a rope drop :goodvibes

Your picture of the goodies just sent me into sugar shock :lmao:

Sorry you didn't get the turnover Jill....Want me to mail you one in a few weeks?

That looks like my students today. Scroll to end of post to see why.

Looking at all your pictures I have decided two things -- one, I would really like a life-size game of Candyland to play in the living room and I would really, really, really like one of those chocolate croissants!

Poor Jarvis (but I would have been giggling, too). :lmao:

The chocolate croissants are good. I tried to recreate them at Christmas. Jill gave her approval and said they were pretty good.

Jarvis was laughing at himself, too. He's a good guy - very personable and polite, and he seemed to quite enjoy himself on the trip.

It does look good even in the pictures. The portions are so big - makes it easy to share around a little of everything.

My WDW plate frame would be transferred to a new car, as well! :)

I'm a water person. I drink pretty much all water, except there are a few things I like a diet drink with, like pizza or popcorn.

Jill said her friends that just got back ended up with 27 leftover snack credits between the five of them! They stocked up on goodies to bring home.

If I go in March, I will bring you one.

There are so many things to look at. Really, the times we've been there, the lines have moved too fast for me to get it all in.

I had Raisin Bran - the store brand. It wasn't as delicious as something from Starring Rolls, but it was very filling. I felt no desire to take a picture of my bowl of cereal, though, to show the world. It's so much more exciting to show people your Disney food.

Now that is a long trip to fill a craving! A good trip though; on eI'm sure MeMom would be up to.

I will do my best to fulfill her order, if we go.

It was probably several times larger than the one at your work, too. Those things are huge!

That's what we were wondering. They said they weren't going to be making any more, and it was very early.

I think you will enjoy it all!!! :) :cool1:

I like it. Jill loves it. Everyone else is somewhere in between, more toward Jill's side. I like the things I can take pictures of. I've never tried to score points. Maybe if I try to do that, I'll enjoy it a lot more! ;)

600+ 4-11 year old children
one building
one set of restrooms down, two still open
Valentine cards and candy tucked safely away inside backpacks until 2 p.m.
Friday, with a long weekend ahead (kids are out, we have in-service)
cupcakes and drinks sitting in view all day, waiting to be devoured

I'll let you do your own imagining about what our school was like today.

Fun. Lots of smiles and giggles.

Chaotic. A table filled with food and the freedom to choose whatever they wanted.

Sweet. Grimy little fingers putting treasures on my desk.

Over. :woohoo:

how true about the over dance! today it was triple the normal chaos with the special needs and kindergarten inclusion--have a great weekend:goodvibes

Yummo! That breakfast looks fabulous!:lovestruc Poor Jarvis, that sounds like something I would do! I love how serious Brooklyn looks about TSMM! Cute!

:lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2: So true. Just to let you know that middle schoolers act like great big kids near Valentine's Day, too! I was so glad to put them all on the bus yesterday afternoon (we have a four day weekend).

This is why I hate Valentine's Day...

Mine wasn't as bad as it could have been, though. My one really, really wild child was halfway decent most of the day. I guess with everyone else so hyper, it helped him look better.

They had fun, and we do enjoy being able to celebrate fun times with the kids, but holiday party days are a little more exhausting than normal days.

She rode with me that time. I enjoyed watching her expressions as she took it all in. She couldn't really pull the string, so I had to help her, but she thought she was doing just fine. It also gave Jill and John a chance to really enjoy and concentrate on the ride and have some real competition.

Are you getting four days, too, or just the kids? Our kids get three, but we'll be in an in-service Monday, so it's just a regular weekend for us.

This is why I hate Valentine's Day...

Now, now....

Go cuddle with your babies and remind yourself how much you love Valentine's Day!

  HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY MEMOM & BROOKLYNNSMOMMY

Same to you, and to everyone else who peeks in today. I'm on my way to the store. Brooklynn and her entourage are coming up later. We'll hit the Disney Store and have some kind of Valentine meal later today. Maybe we'll have pictures, if anything seems worthy of sharing.

Have a nice day filled with love for your family and friends!

Four days for the teachers, too! I am super excited! Of course, when we return on Tuesday, it will be a jam-packed week.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
