Awww I love the idea of taking sand home from the Poly for Brooklynn. So cute.
This could unknowingly be the end of the Poly beach as we know it. If everyone takes a handful of sand, the beach may no longer exist.
Then where would we go to watch Fourth of July fireworks or the EWP?
Oooh, nooooooo!!!!
I also love the sand idea! I might have to borrow that idea if we do any resort hopping.
I like the bag that Jill got. I think that my mom might have gotten a similar one. And, I have to say, you got some nice firework pictures even as you were hurrying to the bus.
The fake pout! That reminds me of what my parents called my "harrumph" face when I was little -- lip out, frown, and even crossed arms. They have a picture of me when I was probably about three making that face. I don't think my pout was ever fake though.
I hope you do get some resort-hopping time in. I very much enjoy exploring the resorts.
The fireworks pictures weren't bad, especially considering the hundreds of blurry pictures I seem to have gotten on that trip.
Do you still get your way with your pouty face, or do they just ignore you now?
Finally caught up on your TR. I really got a kick out of seeing Brooklyn dancing. I LOVE watching little kids dance. They are so carefree. It would be nice if adults could just get up and do that and feel uninhibited. Just dance people!! Who cares who's looking
I'm glad you enjoyed your Turkey Day at Disney.
Congrats on getting your tickets. That's how early we usually fly and I love it! We get there early and it's like having a whole extra day there.
She is totally into her dancing. No inhibitions with her when she's dancing.
We leave Nashville at 6:30 and are in a park eating by lunchtime. Not bad.
I'm up early anyway, so it doesn't bother me in the least.
Looks like your Thanksgiving was great! I'm guessing the best part was just being there with your family!
Yes, it was nice, and I'm glad Jarvis could come to keep Trent company. Since he had broken up with Kristi, his Thanksgiving Day was going to be pretty different than it had been in the last few years, so it was good for him to get away.
It looks like you all had a memorable time yet again!!! You are lucky to have such a close-knit loving family full of wonderful people!
I was excited when I saw the picture of the bags. My co-worker always brings me a little something back from WDW when she goes (she goes about 2x a year). This past fall she brought me back candy and cookies in that green earth-wise bag (with the tree shaped like a mickey head). I use it everywhere! (of course, I had others before, but would you blame me for using the one that says WDW on it? )
I am very blessed to have my three great kids, and I acknowledge that daily.
I saw the tree bags everywhere. That was nice of your co-worker to bring you back fun stuff! Of course, I would use a Disney bag. I
do use a Disney bag!
Those candy displays were very cool.

What a great idea to let Brooklynn bring home a piece of the beach.
Sounds like a wonderful Thanksgiving Day!
Someday, I am going to buy all sorts of candy and let the grandkids just start creating their own scenes like that.
Your Thanksgiving sounds great. It sounds much better than cooking and cleaning up the mess all day. I wish you could have had your whole family with you, then it would have been perfect.
Jill,
Brooklynn's conversation with Mickey was so cute. It is fun seeing little ones love Disney so much. I never got to go when I was a kid. I am so thankful my kids get to go.
Yeah, I do wish Drew had been able to go. I got a Happy Thanksgiving text message and a phone call, though, and I knew he was having a good time with Sam's family, so it was okay. Sam has been to WDW twice with us, and he's around enough that he's like family, so it was all good.
What a wonderful Thanksgiving Day!
Yes ma'am, it was, and I have more light pictures to put up sometime.
What a great way to spend Thanksgiving.
I'm up for doing it again in the future!
Oh the pouty lip...a total killer! I've always been a fan of using it myself!

Oh I love the Polynesian and didn't get there once during the last trip! Thanks for sharing the photos!
She knows she can get whatever she wants out of me...but I do ask her Mommy's permission first. I'm not going to be one of those grandmothers who starts trouble. I ask Jill if it's okay before I offer something or give in to something, just to be sure.
You're such a good MeMom, bagging up sand for cute little Brooklynn.

In November, I got the same light up necklace as her. I must be a kid at heart too.
I LOVE your new picture!!! I truly want to meet those sweet kids someday, and I am thrilled about the fact that you are adopting the little guy!
When we are in Disney World, we are supposed to be kids again. It's a requirement.

It's time for another early morning walk around the resorts.
This is from over at All-Star Movies.
Camera in the food court.
Isn't that cool?
Movie posters. Sorry for the glare.
Not very busy at this time of the morning.
Check in desk in the lobby.
A bit o' shopping.
Back at Music.
Activities by the pool.
Today was a Hollywood Studios day.
We went straight for the Toy Story rope drop area, of course. The quiet in these pictures does not tell the story of what was behind me.
When the masses were let go, we joined the crowd in the semi-fast-paced walk.
Some people ran. I'm not that excited about a ride to run, but I will walk briskly for Soarin'.
That's it for now. I have things to get done around the house and for school. Have a good rest of the evening, friends!
