Over the river and through the FUN!

Great window shopping. I usually dont do to much shopping but this last trip I was on in Dec. I was on a mission. I took a poll from my daughters of their top 3 favorite characters and top 3 rides, for a christmas present. I ended up getting them each a mug of their favorite ride, and 1 of them got their favorite character. So I ended up taking home 2 R n' R 's, 2 T o T's and 1 Jack Skellington. Do you know how it was to get them home? lol, I didn't think that part out when I got the idea. But they all made it home safely. :cool1: In the cup, I put 5 packets of hot chocolate and 5 Disney napkins, and told them they could have a little bit of Disney while they enjoy their chocolate. :goodvibes . The Grandkids got their dino's they picked out from the Build a Dino website, which I thought they would forget about and I could put them under the tree for Christmas but no way, as soon as we got in the car I hear " HI, Grandma, we missed you, did you get our Dino's ?" :rotfl2: So they got Christmas 5 days early. lol. Come my Oct. trip I will have a new little one to Disney spoil :cool1:

All of your window shopping pictures are helping me to create a list for our upcoming trip. :thumbsup2 I think it's so much easier to go in with a gameplan of what you to want buy (at least knowing you want an ornament and a coffee mug for example - not the exact one) instead of just looking around trying to decide - at least for me anyway!

"Can you dig it?" Reminds me of Bedtime Stories, which we just saw yesterday. :goodvibes

I hope you have lots of fun with your three little girls this weekend.
Thank you so much for your positive outlook on life. It really is great to be able to laugh, share, tease and voice our concerns with one another. I think that is why Disney and the DIS is such a wonderful place. It helps us to escape the reality of the real world for a little bit( OK, A lot bit:rotfl: ) each day. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

More great shopping pictures. I'm going to be so sad if I can't find some of this stuff when I am down there. :rotfl2:

I knew I could bring you to the surface with my shopping talk!!!
You should be using these pictures to decide what kind of Disney goods you could buy Ma for next Christmas!

I can't buy them when she is with me, there would be no surprise.

I'll see what I can do. What did you have for lunch today? Who kept Declan while you were at work?

Pooksma was home in the morning. Both their school swere closed but she was suppose to be working at the Department so she went in later. Declan stayed with his grandparents. You have to love it when they live around the corner.

My lunch was a mixed bag so I do really need more food pictures.

Great shopping update MeMom!:)(sorry Declansdad!) And what a sweet picture of the family in the Happy Holidays set-up at DTD! I can't believe I missed the remote control alien! I love the aliens! I'll have to make a mental note to look for him on the next trip!

Well the toy pictures were great!:rotfl2:

MeMom-you know what I realized. I haven't seen a pic of you!

There have been a few sprinkled around, but just a very few. I much prefer to be behind the camera.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

The elusive MeMom picture.

You have to pay close attention to the shopping pictures. Occasionally there is a reflection in the window.

Maybe BrooklynsMommy has a MeMom action shot??? I think there was some action at DHS awhile ago. ;)

Happy Friday Memom! Hope you have a great weekend. I got today off again as our driveway drifted shut and it took DH almost 2 hrs to dig out his truck (he thought he could make it through since he was 4 whl drive but NOPE!!) so we just decided to stay home since where we work had really bad road conditions. We had a three day work week (but paid for all week) and a 3 day weekend. Why can't every week be like that:confused3

Memom,

Thanks for the encouraging words, they helped me today. We have a man in our church congregation who we are very close to find out that his lung cancer is back. He already had one lung removed a year and a half ago so there isn't much doctors can do for him. He and his wife are really close and it is so hard to see them suffering.

I love the pictures of Brooklynn with her mom and dad. They all look they have the same feeling I have when I'm at Disney, pure happiness. Thanks for sharing your family and trip, I really enjoy it.

I love all the shopping pictures.
I really like the pluto stocking, Pluto looks cute with antlers and a red nose.

The tree with the toys is cute! I see Monkeys from the barrell and Mr. Potato Head.

Great family photos with the Carolers.

I love all the pictures but I also love hearing what you have to say.
The thoughts you share about life, which are often serious, and the cute little comments between the photos, which are often silly. You come up with a good balance.

And Have lots of fun with Brooklyn during her visit!

And Have a great weekend, have lots of fun with Brooklynn!

Is his tub like Brooklynn's? There are so many toys, there's not much room for the kid! :goodvibes

Oh my lord, you should see our bathtime. We have this tote right by the bathtub that holds all his toys. Well..after I get him undressed, he has to put ALL the toys in. :rolleyes2 He has a ton of duckies so he'll line those all up along the ledge of the bathtub.

MeMom and Jill- I was at Target today and in the dollar bins they had tons of Monsters Inc stuff- stickers, notebooks, snack containers, markers, etc... super cute! I thought of Brooklynn!

I have been getting paid for doing a whole lot of nothing today!

Well that sounds like a lot of FUN!!! :thumbsup2

Those 4D pics of Bellarie are SO awesome!!!! And a very sweet smile princess:

I think I'm all caught up now :cheer2:

The yummy bakery pics even smell good!!

I LOVE the pics of the GF! I think it's a beautiful place and definitely wouldn't turn down a free trip but it's not on the top of my list to stay :upsidedow

Those were very sweet pics with Meeko. Dodger was almost named that, but I went with Dodger from Oliver and Co.

FUN!! DD window shopping.....and whew I'm tired and hungry now from seeing those Earl sandwiches....going to eat now

the evil part of me always wants to ask the mary poppins at disney to say this backwards. i bet she could do it though.

Oh I bet she could!
But I would love to see it on video ::yes::

That was a good idea for presents. I kind of did the same with Drew. He got a mug and a variety pack of hot chocolate in little tins. He's only got a little left in his last tin, I noticed. They had Disney characters, so being the Disney dork that I am, I've been cleaning out the cans and saving them as he's finished them.

You're such a nice Grandma. Congratulations on your newest addition, too!

Glad to help with your shopping needs.

What did you think of Bedtime Stories?

Yeah, I think I'm going to have to go with a 'lotta bit', too. Guilty here, for sure!

The girls and I are going by to see some friends and then probably to the Disney Store.

More great shopping pictures. I'm going to be so sad if I can't find some of this stuff when I am down there. :rotfl2:

You'll find it. There were lots of repeats in stores all over.

I would love to live around the corner from my grandkids. Jill is always after us to move down there.

Chef Mickey's pictures are coming soon.

Well the toy pictures were great!:rotfl2:

I can see you playing remote control alien.

My, my, aren't we so funny?
Today must have been Funny Friday for you!

Even funnier than the 'action' was Jill's reenactment of the action!

pixiedust: Have a fantastic Friday and a super Saturday with your girls.

I did, and I hope to.

Sounds like a deal to me!

I'm sorry about your friend. Cancer is an ugly thing. I'll keep them in my prayers.

Thanks. I'm glad I have people to share thoughts with, and I'm glad my silliness hasn't run you off...yet.

Will do!

Does he have the Disney ducks? Brooklynn has a few of them.

MeMom and Jill- I was at Target today and in the dollar bins they had tons of Monsters Inc stuff- stickers, notebooks, snack containers, markers, etc... super cute! I thought of Brooklynn!

I think Jill has been to Target recently, so I bet she got some.

Dodger is a cute name.

You have a good weekend, too!

The whole group was going to meet at the Contemporary Resort to eat Thanksgiving dinner with Chef Mickey, so I left here:

and got on a bus for Hollywood.

IMG_0219.jpg

This was where I would transfer to a CR bus, but first, I had a little time for browsing and more pictures, so naturally, I did that.

and Donald Duck.

It's a good thing I can't really buy what I am seeing in all of these photos. If I could, I would have bought that Mickey tote bag and the striped sweater. Too cute!

What did you think of Bedtime Stories?

I thought it was a fun movie. I don't think I heard one swear word in it! My younger two seemed a bit restless at times, but they said they loved it. There were a few suggestive comments (calling girls/women "hot"), but overall a fun family movie. :thumbsup2

Jackie - I liked that sweater too! :goodvibes

I don't know how I'm going to decide which ornament to buy on this trip. You've shown me so many!!!

My, my, aren't we so funny?
Today must have been Funny Friday for you!

Even funnier than the 'action' was Jill's reenactment of the action!

Actually I was giving a quiz today. That always puts me a in a good mood, well until I start marking them.

Great food pics today! :rotfl2:
