Over the river and through the FUN!

love your pictures, as always! What are those things next to the first row of plates?
heres hoping for your snowday:cheer2:

Put your hands down.
I know I'm ridiculous, but look at yourself sitting at the computer with your hand up. :rotfl:

How did you see me through the computer? :rotfl2:

I thought of you today when I caught a bit of Oprah. they were discussing surprise food comparisons and said that real bacon is better for you than turkey bacon. They said that they have the same amount of fat and calories (but I would have sworn the point was turkey bacon has less :confused3 ) but turkey bacon has significantly more sodium

I love looking through all the shops there.

great pics.

I hope you got the snow day you were hoping for!! I know I did and I literally almost jumped out of bed and did one of these :cool1: ...ok so I would never dance like that but you know what I mean.

I love all the "window" shopping pictures, those plates are following you around, haunting you even, didn't you think that it was a sign to buy them!?

I raised my hand too! I still want those plates....::yes::

We would get along well purse shopping, only I don't care if its obvious Disney. I like the plaid Mickey one. I already have a few of the others. ;)

Brooklynn is very cute with Donald & Daisy. :crowded:

Did you buy that Christmas Eyeore?

I'm off to work in lots of new snow. I hope my rental car drives good in it. :drive:

Yesterday my DMom had an accident in my car. She is fine. I said my many thank you's to God. But my car may be totalled. :sad2: We'll see what they decide.

Have a great day, I'm so thankful for all you. Be safe. pixiedust:

I love to play scrabble! :cool1:

Mmmmm - more Earl of Sandwich sandwiches. :thumbsup2

I've already decided I'm going to buy a Christmas ornament on this trip mainly because of your pictures! :thumbsup2

These are the cutest little trees! They would make a great center piece for a table.

I think I see Eeyore smiling! :)

Me too! We have a 2 hour delay, so I'm hoping for the day off!

They were cute, but they were kind of expensive, I think.

Eeyore was smiling! I don't know why he didn't end up coming home with us. Every time I look at that picture I regret not getting him.

I love the Christmas Store! I was hoping you'd get a picture of the ornament I picked out so I could tell you, but I never saw it in any of the pics.

Haha, Brookie was doing a good job breaking up the fight.

Sorry. There were hundreds of ornaments in there.
And hundreds of people, too.

I don't think Donald could stay mad for too long with her sweet little face right there. It looks like she's trying to get them to hold hands.

Hey! I bought that purple Eyeore mug for my mom. She loves eyeore too! I also bought a mug for my dad, but it broke on the airplane. It's funny though the lady who wrapped up the mugs told me with the wrapping stuff they use it won't break even if it's dropped from a 10 story building. I guess someone was misinformed because mine did.

That's too bad. Did you call to get it replaced? I think they're pretty good about stuff like that.

I can't wait to try Earl of Sandwich! Those sandwiches always look soooo good. I keep on checking the menu on allears to see which one I want to try!

You can have some of ours! We are supposed to get 9-12" tomorrow. I'm not sure where we'll put it--there's still so much that hasn't melted. Some of its on the sidewalks, but it's mostly the big piles that everyone made when shoveling the snow from a couple of weeks ago.

I'll look forward to seeing which one you finally pick. Be sure to stage it nicely and give us a picture!

Thanks. Looks like we got a couple of inches of the white stuff. That was enough for us to get to stay home!

It sure is going to look different in Florida when you get there very, very soon!

:rotfl2: that's funny.

i will send some snow vibes your way. hmmmmmm.....now i have to find a snow vibe-y smilie.

:cold: :jumping1: :cold:

those blue jumpy guys kinda look like snow. kinda. and i threw in a couple of cold icey guys for good measure.

I don't know if it was the blue jumpy guys or the cold icy guys or all of them working together, but they did it! Thanks a million, 'cause I've got a ton of paperwork to get done.

I am snow dancing for you! We got our call already (before 9, I saw it online at 8:10). I just now hope that DH gets a call before we are asleep about his work. Last night mine came at 5 ish and his just after I went back to sleep. Then I was awake... as was Luke for about an hour!

You're a good dancer! I'm at home. Didn't get enough to make a snowman, but maybe a snowbaby.

They didn't decide ours until almost five. I was already getting ready.

While you are snow dancing could you do some spirited snow fingers towards Georgia? I NEED a snow day -- unfortunately, I don't think it will happen since it is supposed to be in the 50's tomorrow here.

Miracles only flow so far south. We barely got any, and I sure can't help you out on a 50 degree day! Jill said it was sunny and the the high 60's there yesterday, and two hours up the road - here - it rained all day and was cold.

I'm doing the snow dance too. But, we're not supposed to get as much as those south of us.
I LOVE the Christmas store. Your pics are great! The chips look yummy too!

You notice we had a variety of colors in our chips to add to the presentation. That one lone chip is just sitting there between the sandwich halves. I don't know why I ever pick up anything other than the sandwich there, because I never can even finish the sandwich, much less extras.

love your pictures, as always! What are those things next to the first row of plates?

I think you're seeing coasters and hot pads by the plates.

Thanks for the snow day wishes!

I didn't see you, but I took a wild guess. I know I would have stuck my hand up in one second. Then I thought about what it would look to someone who came into the room and saw me sitting at the computer with my hand up, and I figured other people were as goofy, too. :surfweb:

Nice, but goofy! :upsidedow

I'll have to tell Trent about the bacon. I'm sure there's some reason he likes it, and it could just be the taste, but it probably has something to do with health, too. Maybe there's some other difference in it that he likes.

I love looking through all the shops there.

great pics.

Yep. It's fun stuff. It was more fun than usual, since it was almost Christmas.

You only go the early part of the day off, though, right?
You wouldn't dance like that? That looks a lot like Brooklynn dancing. :cool1: Go back and check out how her arms flail in the video!

They had a lot of cute purses, but I just had in mind what I wanted, and nothing for the bill. They'll make more, and one day the right one will be there for me.

I didn't get the Eeyore. I left two Eeyores there that I would like to have had.

I'm glad your mom is fine, but I bet she is sore all over.

Very sorry to hear about the car! Mine was a goner, too, when the teenager hit me in the side and spun me into a telephone pole. :drive: :crazy2:

Or maybe it was a light pole. I can't remember.
It was wood, and it hurt. That part I do remember. ::yes::

I love to play scrabble! :cool1:

Yay! A Scrabble player! My kids will rarely play with me, and it's my favorite game. That's not very nice of them, is it???

Okay, I'll go first.
On the pink center star, I shall put:

SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPEALIDOCIOUS

No? :upsidedow

Okay, maybe you should go first.

I've got to do some school work. I brought everything home in anticipation of being here today. My late night snowdance didn't work, because we were still in as of early this morning. I did a 4:30 dance (not really, but don't tell my 3rd graders) and it worked like a charm!

Along with all of you guys dancing around out there like :cool1: , too!

Can you imagine looking down on the world in a 'Google Earth' kind of way and seeing random people dancing around like that?!?!? :crazy2:
You'd really wonder about 'em, wouldn't you?

Oh look at that little cutie with Christmas Eeyore! :) I too went looking for a new purse while at Disney and came home without one...I couldn't find something that suited me for everyday...I should say your snow dance worked here! It's blowing around like crazy out there!

Are you on Facebook MeMom? I play Scrabble (although it's not called Scrabble because of copyright issues) on there with friends. :thumbsup2

Just checking in. Today is my off day, but I am at work. The director is out at a training and the assistant called me this morning sick and asked if I would come in so she could go home. So I have been getting paid for doing a whole lot of nothing today!

Yeah, I only got off of my morning classes because there was a delayed start until 12pm and my morning classes all start before that. So I just have to go from 5:30-8 tonight now...:faint: And trust me, I watched that video of Brooklynn already and it was adorableeee! Shes a much better dancer than this guy :cool1: lol

That was nice of you! It's nice to get paid to do nothing sometimes, isn't it? :goodvibes

That's what I wanted - something for every day. I wanted a subtle Disney touch to it, but I didn't find anything that met my needs.

I guess I'm a powerful snow dancer, huh? :cool1:

Nope. I'm happy with my face not being on/in any book! :)
However, Scrabble by any name sounds fun! I might have to check that out sometime!

Getting paid to Dis? Awesome! Are they hiring? :flower3:

Hopefully, everyone is safely at home and in bed now.

the evil part of me always wants to ask the mary poppins at disney to say this backwards. i bet she could do it though.

You should do it and video it. If Brooklynn ever stands in line for her autograph, I'll get her to ask!

*************************************

I've had a lot of time to think today, in between my spurts of schoolwork, housework, and Dising. I've thought about some days past that were so special to me and brought me such joy. Reading books or baking goodies with Jill, rebounding basketballs (thousands of them) for Trent, rolling Matchbox cars or watching a funny show with Drew - those were little things from days when they were little people, yet they were treasured moments, and the thought of them just makes my spirits soar and brings a smile to my face and makes me feel so, so blessed.

Then there's my little Brooklynn. When people say someone else can light up their lives, that's such a true feeling. When all around me is looking bleak, I can look at a picture of that little girl and just know God is still at work, even when I in my weakness do not understand His plan.

I know some people going through some difficult times at this moment - some with babies who have weak and diseased bodies, some with older children who have struggles of many kinds, and some with parents who are aging and in need. Tears flow frequently, yet silently and secretly so that they don't 'burden' their family and friends. Although this life sometimes brings us pain beyond what we think we can bear, I believe there will be a time that all the hurt will be gone, and there will be healing and happiness for these people.

Those of you who are so inclined, please keep these people in your thoughts and prayers. Their hearts are torn to shreds and they are emotional wrecks, but they keep facing each day as they know they must. You just can't stop and wallow in your sorrows and let them swallow you whole, so you push on, looking forward to the day when the bad is behind and the days are filled with good feelings at every turn.

I hope that in your lives right now most things are going along pretty smoothly. It is nice to come here and laugh and tease each other and talk about fun and frivolous things. It's a nice relief from the stresses of our everyday lives. I thank you all for your friendships through this avenue. Thanks for making me laugh, and thanks for taking me away from my problems when we 'gather' here. Thank you for all of your good families - for the good moms and dads and grandparents and aunts and uncles and friends you are to those you love. You have all become special to us as we've traveled through these trips, and I hope you, along with all of us, have a lot of miles left in you that we will share together.

Even though I know I must be driving some of you  with the shopping pictures...thanks for hanging out with us!

MeMom may you have a blessed day, as you continue to bless the lives that you touch each day in the classroom and on the web.:grouphug:

I always look forward to the updates and what is happening in your family! We are home again today.... so I could sure use some new pictures to look at!

MeMom thanks for reminding me that others have it much worse than I do. Last night I was woken up at 2am (not normal for me) and couldn't sleep. I am worried about so many things and was having a pity party for myself. Your little note was just what I needed today. I've gone through so many things in my past and this will pass too. I am proud to call you a DIS friend. Have a good day, I will put the others in my prayers today. :grouphug:

I really do enjoy the DIS. It's a wonderful, fun diversion to the ups and downs of life. A very nice escape where I've met really nice people. :grouphug:

DeclansDad you bite your tongue, I LOVE THE SHOPPING PICS !!! :rotfl: Keep them comming MeMom. :thumbsup2

Snow day here- but not for me:snooty: Declan gets the day off though.

I LOVE the TINK bag you showed us MeMom. While I hate to carry a purse, I would use that one.

Happy days!
