I'm sure I do lose elf points!

I'm using the excuse that Owen was sick for about a week and a half or 2 weeks and that got me really behind because he didn't want to get sat down. I couldn't stand to listen to him cry when he was sick. I know he needed mommy to hold and cuddle him.
That's a perfectly good excuse. Poor guy! I hope he's all better now.
I saw your Christmas pictures. It sounds like someone in your family could be related to MeMom with the picture-taking!
That's so funny that Brooklynn asked for a purple computer! You do have to wonder where they come up with some of the things that they do. I also cracked up when she said that she wanted to take a nap right then, so that she could open her presents sooner!
I need to go to Basin, and EoS as well. I'm dying to go to DTD when it's not packed like it was the last time that we went, and when EoS isn't closed.
That will be so cute! I have two cousins that dressed alike when they were little. One is just nine months older than me, and the other is 3 years older than me, so we grew up together and are still really close. Up until about the time I was six or seven, I thought that they were twins!! They're close in age and they looked so much alike when they were little, plus I knew two sets of twins in my class. They were the only others I'd ever seen dressing alike--obviously if my cousins were dressing alike, they HAD to be twins. I actually have a picture of the three of us holding hands in my grandmother's front yard, and they're dressed in the same outfit, but different colors. I showed it to one of them at a family party over the summer and all she said was, "oh no."
I never ended up going back to Basin, and I regret that.
I may have bought another set of semi-matching outfits today while my friend and I were shopping.
Okay, okay. I confess!
I
did buy another set of semi-matching outfits today while my friend and I were shopping.
No more. I'm done!
My friend had to go and start looking at things for her grandkids (one boy and two girls), so naturally I looked.
Looking became purchasing.
No more shopping!
Don't worry Memom...I did not get xmas cards out either this year. I had Caleb's pictures taken late so all the family members are just getting them at the actual christmas celebration. Maybe next year

but I am not counting on it since he will be mobile then
This is probably the last time I will be on the computer (and it is not purple

...it sounds very pretty)
So have a Merry Christmas
I'm sorry I missed you today.
We wish you the very happiest holiday ever with Caleb!
Hi, so you are having a quiet day, I have to be at work for 1pm. I think I'm getting the "cold" going around. Sniffle..sniffle...as I try to rest here in bed.
How cute of Brooklynn to ask for a purple 'puter. She just wants to DIS too!

I saw a Hannah Montana toy computer at T'RUS and it brand name was "lexibook" I thought that was too funny.

Lexi said she was too old for it but I was tempted to buy it.
Today, I set my PVR to record the WDW Christmas parade on Thursday!!! I will watch it live but I always tape it to watch it again later. Lexi is so excitted that Miley Cyrus & Jonas Brothers are apearing...
I also ordered the Passporters guide book for 2009 from Barnes & Noble USA, our book store doesn't seem to have it this year?
Have a great day!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO THOSE THAT ARE TRAVELLING TODAY!!
Sorry to hear about your sniffles. I hope it doesn't turn into more.
Brooklynn is two. She pretty much wants everything she sees, but she'll be happy with anything she gets!
I'll be watching the parade with all the other Disers around the country! I have to say, if I were a teenage girl, I would have posters of Nick on my walls. He's a cutie! In my day, it was Donny Osmond, David Cassidy and Bobby Sherman. I was totally in love with Donny Osmond, but I don't think he's one bit cute now.
MeMom! It took me awhile but I finally found you guys. What a wonderful trip report so far. I had no idea that Jill was expecting so a big Congratulations to her!

I love all of the pictures!
Yeah, you've been out of the loop for a while. Four kids can keep one very busy, but I do hope you'll check in with us occasionally. I love the picture you have up now, but I also miss that one of those three smiling faces you used to have up. Maybe you can share a Christmas picture with us!
I'm behind on sending out cards too. Its terrible for me cause i havnet even filled them out yet. But they will get there...later rather than sooner. Next year i think i may start around halloween that way im sure i'll be finished in time
You know, that's not a bad idea. On Halloween night, I could fill out Christmas cards, and then they'd be ready to go on time! I did get my cards mailed, so they'll get there eventually.
That is too cute that she asked for a purple computer. I am not sure how much longer I will be able to get on the dis in the next couple of days... due to the cooking and traveling to see my (and Joe's) family..
so I just wanted to wish Everyone a Very Merry Christmas ... Please be safe. I know where I am in NJ they are saying we are going to get black ice tomorrow.
I hope we haven't missed you completely. The Tinkerbell ornament you gave Brooklynn has found a nice home with some other Disney ornaments. I think she'll like it there!
Have safe travels wherever you go!

My friend, Kay, and I went out to Opry Mills today. We always try to get together sometime during my two week break, and she said today worked for her as well as any other day ahead, so we went on and planned for it. We walked around the mall, bought the grandkids a few things, and ate lunch at the food court. We talked about our March trip, and she said that she made the executive decision that she does want to go! She's just telling her husband she's going, and even though he will bark about it a little, as husbands often do, he'll be fine with it.
So, we're going to go during my spring break! We'll stay at POP this time. I did get a code, but I'll be keeping my eyes out for a better one.
We're going to fly down on Wednesday morning and fly back on Sunday night. We'll get non-park hoppers, because we're trying to keep the budget in check.
The plan is as follows:
-Animal Kingdom on arrival day
-Magic Kingdom on Thursday
-Friday, Epcot is having a Davy Jones concert along with the Flower and Garden Festival, so we chose Friday for Epcot all day. I never was as wild about Davy as I was about Donny

, but it'll be cool to see him in person.
-Saturday we'll do Hollywood Studios. She loves Tower of Terror.
For a few more dollars, we'll go ahead and get the 5th park day so that we can probably go to Epcot a second time on Sunday. I figure we can go in and
Soar one last time and see some more F&G stuff, and then maybe hit Downtown Disney for a couple of hours before Magical Express takes us away.
That's how it looks for now. It'll be a very nice getaway after two and a half months of pressure-packed teaching in preparation for testing, plus I'll be working an extra after school tutoring program to help pay for this.
It's kind of bittersweet, though, as I roll it around in my mind.
I will be sad that Jill and Brooklynn will not be with me.
I love going to Disney World with them!!!
I will bring back as much of the magic as I can to them, though, and I'll make it up to them by making our
December trip as
wonderful as possible!
That's all the news for tonight. I hope you are all having fun with your shopping and wrapping and programs and festivities. It can be a hectic time of year, but it is also a very nice time. It's good that people get the chance to stop and think of others and enjoy the company of those they love and sometimes don't get to see very often.
