Please tell me you aren’t actually considering wiping your hands with bleach right before eating? I believe all DCL ships have hand-washing areas before you enter Cabanas, and restrooms aren’t far from the MDRs. If there is a noro outbreak on your cruise DCL will take extra precautions such as handing out hand-wipes and no self-serve plus additional cleaning protocols. But please don’t put bleach on your hands before eating.
No, not bleach. I might consider the hydrogen peroxide wipes in a pinch. But the fact that you need to soak noro for 5-10 minutes really makes any self-prevention (on surfaces or hands) on a cruise almost impossible. We have always been conscientious hand washers so i quess we just keep doing what we do and hope for the best.

Did you read the thread? Sanitizer doesn't kill noro.Bumping up this post. We disembarked the Ruby Princess on Sunday. It was the cleanest ship that I've seen in a long time! Nobody was sick (that I know of). There were hand sanitizing stations everywhere. I saw employees wiping the hand rails multiple times.
I'm sure Princess was keeping it wayyy clean for their next CDC inspection.
Sanitizing stations could include soap and water, which does kill noroviruses.
Yes, I read the thread. What is your point in asking that question? I wrote several sentences, and in none of them did I claim that sanitizer kills norovirus. It's brazen for you to be rude to me (**"Did you read the thread? Sanitizer doesn't kill noro."**) in this thread and then, in a different thread, ask me for my thoughts on dining.
