Anybody see the new Outlander Season 2 trailer that came out last week? Whoa!

Between Outlander and Game of Thrones, I can't wait for April!

I've been holding off on seeing anything so I can be "surprised." (in quotes since I've read almost all the books.

is it the scene about Murtaugh knowing Claire is from the future? If it is that I read the Diana said that for her it was just a given he knew even though it wasn't actually written in the books.

I just stumbled onto this series. Binged watch season 1 and just finished reading Drums of Autumn. I really like it (though I find all of the books so far could cut out a few hundred pages. She gives too much information ) and am looking forward to watching season 2!

I follow Teri on twitter and she gives lots of little "tidbits" about the costumes. (Just a sleeve, here, an embroidered hem there, etc.) I also listen to a few Outlander Podcasts.

I watched the first half of season 1 totally cold. I knew nothing about the books. During the break, I read every book.

Everything with this series is a surprise. It is very loosely based on the books. They are just making stuff up an entire episodes have not been based on the book!

Really? See I have read the books and nothing that has been done seems too off from the books at all.

That's what I thought too. Granted, there were parts I skimmed because she goes in to too much detail.

Make sure you're watching the trailer that is only one week old, not the one from two months ago. It starts with Claire walking down a hallway with a green dress on.

Oh, I was thinking of a scene most were upset about because it doesn't follow the book...yes the last scene is a shock especially if you haven't read them.

I read book 1 after watching season 1 and I thought they followed it pretty well.

My standards for adaptations are much lower now. I've been beaten down by the Harry Potter movies - I'm okay with changes.
