Out of pocket costs w/ Disney Dining?

We aren't big breakfast eaters, either. Our plan is to grab something quick in the morning (cereal, muffins) and having an early CS lunch on the plan. Want to hit the lunch CS before noon since it just gets super busy the later you wait. We have ADRs everynight and picked early times (6, 6:30). We figure we'll never have room for dessert so we'll take it "to go" and have it for a snack at night.
So we figure:
One mug to share (if we were going longer, we'd get two) - $12
Quick Breakfast - $4 X 2 People X 5 Mornings - $40
One morning when "I'll just have to have breakfast" - $10 (CS)
Random snacks each day $10 X 4 full days - $40
----------
$ 102

That seems like a pretty reasonable amount. I'm sure we'll get a couple of alcoholic drinks but we would do this regardless of having the dining plan. Since I know we would do TS everynight and are using two for an ADR at Artist Point, I think we'll do well.

We stayed for 6 nights after thankgiving last year. I sent down poptarts, granola bars and other little snacks. That is what we did for breakfast most days. We ate 1 oop breakfast at the food court, and bought 2 refillable mugs.
I'd say we spent less that $60 oop.

We used the dining plan in December 2005 for 2 adults and 4 kids. We found that things worked very well with this method:

Pop tart on the way to the bus
11:00 a.m. CS lunch
6:00 p.m. TS Dinner

Then a snack during the day when we needed one! If you bring a box of pop tarts you are set.

WE did buy a couple of 1/2 gallons of milk in the gift shop ($2.99 each) and then I let each of the kids get one snack (for the whole trip) that wasn't on the plan.

So total out of pocket for food: about $26.00 -- Not bad!!

We did the dining plan last Sept (myself and my 3 kids, and my parents).

I think I only paid OOP for one resort mug; 2 alcoholic drinks; 2 soft pretzels at Epcot and I think 1 popsicle because the cart's magnetic reader was out of order & my son really wanted one. Oh, and I bought a counter service breakfast one day, but that was cheap enough. We ended up burning about 7-8 snack credits the last day because it really is a LOT! We got waters, chips and Krispy treats for the plane ride home. All in all, I would guess I spent no more than $50 OOP for the week. Not bad! I did bring poptarts, granola bars, and a few other breakfasty snacks---we would also grab a milk or piece of fruit the night before and split that in the room the next morning, along with our poptarts, etc.

We did the dining plan in August and paid about $150 OOP, and that included $30 in extra tips and some alcoholic beverages. We spent very little on any extra food. I packed some poptarts, cereal bars and granola bars to start out the day with milk bought from the store. We then had a mid morning snack, and an early lunch.

There was more food than we could eat - honestly we left there with 5 snack credits left (which was really dumb - I should have gotten some snacks for the plane trip hone, but we were running behind!). My DH is a large eater, and I am average. My kids were 2 and 3, and they are fairly light eaters...however, DD was only 2 and was too young for the dining plan, so we shared meals.

I wouldn't think you would have any OOP expense.
