Our very magical, very first trip to Disney World

So was the minigolf place there at the swan? I kinda wanted to go minigolfing when we went but didn't know how to get there by bus (yes we drove, but I was scared to drive!).

Yes, it was right there at the swan, you just take the water taxi to the swan from Hollywood Studios, and the water taxi is a very nice ride too, with alot to see.

What a great update! Such a fun idea to rent the boat. Ur hubby looked so proud to be driving! Such a fun family thing-my girls would love it! I am having major withdrawls too!

Oh yeah, he was so happy that night, He is still talking about the boat to anyone who will still listen I love him!!!!!

Oh those pics on the beach are so good! You have a beautiful family. (You knew that laready though...didn't ya?) Renting the pontoon....isn't that the most fun? We did that once at Bay Lake. DTD looks like a blast too. Where all could you go? Were you allowed to go as far as Port Orleans? I want to rent the pontoon again next time I bring my parents. I think they'd like that.

Yes, we could go as far as Port Orleans, it was a very nice ride, it's already a must on our to do list for next year!!

The boat rental surprise was amazing! Seeing how happy you made your husband and kids brought tears to my eyes! The way you incorporated activities into your trip that made everyone feel special just blew me away. We had an awesome trip too but I was so focused on getting the most bang for our buck that I had my kids literally running from place to place without even asking them what they wanted to do. Your kids look so happy and relaxed. I am learning alot from your trip report that I will hopefully take with us on our next WDW vacation (Dec 2010-we hope).

Aww, thanks, I did do A LOT of planning for this trip, and because of such a big gap in my kid's ages, I wanted to make sure they were all having the best trip, and I think I did a pretty good job at that.

This TR is waaaaaay to cute for me to handle. Your kids are adorable and really look like they're having the best time ever. If I'm lucky enough to have kids I can't wait to take them to the world for the first time <3 Great report and I can't wait to read more!

Ok, so Manny and I never technically got married. We've been together for 11 years (next month) and had Emily within the first year, so we just never planned a wedding. I of course refer to and consider him my husband, but it's not official.


Well guess what we are getting married next year. We are going to get married on the 4th of July!!!!!! And consider our next year's big Disney Trip our Honeymoon!!!!

HOW'S THAT FOR FUN!!!!

We really just decided this last night, and we are both really excited. He already told the guys at work, he beat me!!! I have not really talked to anyone yet.

So Joy (my SIL) if you're on the disboards today you may hear it here first!!! and Nicole(Makdyn) you may hear it first as well if you're on before I talk to you again today!!!

So I now have a wedding and a Disney Trip to plan for next year!!!! Oh, boy, I'm excited today!!!!

And I never thought that i'd be saying I have a wedding to plan
I'm going to tell the girls tonight, i'll let you know what they think of this. And we'll call Anthony tonight and tell him too, he has always wanted us to get married!!!! When he was younger he would have us act out little "play weddings" too cute, I know he's gonna be excited!!!

My pre trip report for next year's trip is gonna be alot of fun, I hope you're all around for it

How fun! My husband and I talked about that when we were at Disney-- I told him I wished we weren't married so we could plan a Disney wedding and/or honeymoon-- he laughed but said he thought the same thing!

We actually went to Disneyland California two days after we got married in 93! But we lived in California at the time so it wasn't quite the same!

Ok, so I told my best friends, Brianne(she can't wait to go dress shopping) and Nicole and they were of course thrilled!!!
My Mom was ecstatic!! My brother said "Oh my god, you are, that is so awesome" Manny even wants him to be his best man, so my brother was of course happy about that!
I called my cousin and Oh boy, she has all of these ideas for me.

When i'm ready to go looking for a dress I want Brianne, Nicole, and my cousin Missy to come along and we'll have a fun day of dress shopping and then all go for lunch, it will be fun!!!

As for my girls, they were so happy. Emily said, oh you'll finally have the same last name as us!! Lizzie let out a loud screech and can't wait to wear a pretty dress and be in a wedding, and Sam's not really sure what a wedding is, so she's just happy because she knows we're happy
I wanted Manny to call Anthony and tell him, but he wants to wait until he comes over this weekend!!!!! So, i'll let you know what he says!!! I'm sure he will be thrilled!!!

Ok, well, i've uploaded some of my pictures from the next day, which we went to Epcot!!!!! I'll get the rest of the pictures up tonight and hopefully get the next update up tomorrow, sorry the whole wedding thing threw me off track

Reading your updates always makes me smile. You all look so happy. Your daughter saying that this is the best vacation ever reminds me of what six year old son said. On our trip in Dec. we were in the MK on the first day and he said, "This is the best day of my life." That is why I love DW so much.

Congratulations on your big news. Sounds like you will have a busy year. Maybe it will go fast.
