It was a great trip. Had a ton of fun.
Tues we did HS. I had FP+ for TSM, Fantasmic, and RnR. But since we were able to pull FP for RnR we changed to Beauty and the Beast since the line was long. But when we did B&B the standby wasn't long and our seats were no better then if we had done standby. I wouldn't do Fantasmic again. They don't do reserved seating for FP+ you go in with standby. But they changed they way they do dining package and now dining package has the best seats reserved. Weds we did AK and had BoG diner. We FP+ The Yeti ride, Dinosaur and FoLK.
All went well Thurs we did MK all day. I had 8am breakfast in the castle. 4:30 dinner at 1900 PF and the party that night. We FP+ Enchanted tells with Bell(well worth it), space Mt, and BTR. Magic Bands worked well for the most part. All our FP+ Worked.
Fri we did Epcot which was horrible with the FP+. We had 3 picked but only did Soarin and Test Track. Both lines were horrible. Enjoyed Christmas around the world. Loved Whoopi at the CP. There were a lot of rude kids there. I saw one group leaving Japan and throwing trash on the ground. But enjoyed the WS despite that. FW was just over crowded.
Only problem we had was the pin on the MB. If we changed 1 the other would stop working. And none of the pins would work. Like when we got there I set Vince's for him. But mine wouldn't work with his # or mine. So I reset mine and his stopped working.
Also we used MB for photos. We were told they would be linked together but they're not. So I have to get that fixed. I
was happy with FP+ for this trip. Think it would be harder with kids. But being able to pull paper FP in addition was good.
I loved AK. The view was simply amazing. Club level was wonderful. They had a bday gift waiting when we checked in and got to our room. The food was good although we weren't there for most of it but we did try all the different ones except for the afternoon snack. Loved the mimosas they gave us one at check in. Very friendly staff. Location was good but would have preferred the 6th floor. We went to the room after our AK day and there were tons of animals. Only 2 down sides were being so far away and house keeping wasn't great. I think we would have taken advantage of CL if the location was different. But still an amazing resort with an amazing view.
