MGM Studios today.
We got there early, just before 9:00, got in, got wheelchair, and hotfooted it to TOT. Others got in line, while Mom quickly hobbled (I forgot to mention the nasty blister I got the first day on the bottom of my foot, eww!), to RNR to get FPs. Got back, rode TOT, loved it, got the pictures, then killed some time while waiting for FP time for RNR. Then rode it, we all loved it too, also got the pictures here.
We headed over to Sci Fi for lunch, kids loved it, then rode the Great Movie Ride. We got lucky and got the Western mode this time, and have now seen both the gangster and Western.
We decided to head to Star Tours, BUT the biggest hitch in today's plans occurred here. While walking in front of the ABC Commisary, DD had a seizure on us. Luckily, she was already in the wheelchair, and luckily for us it didn't last long, only about five minutes at most. Her recovery time took longer as the paramedics got there, evaluated her vitals, and we decided to take her to the Care Place at the front of the park to recover. While there we called her doctor, told him what had happened, and we finally decided to get her an antibiotic just in case she had a sinus or ear infection. She'd been sleeping badly due to congestion which started when we got there, so apparently the seizure was caused by mind fatigue.
So we went back to the resort (WDW was wonderful and sent us a special van to take her back in) and spent the afternoon resting. I want to say here that WDW was great that afternoon, from the manager of the ABC commisary who had us take her in there from the heat, to the paramedics who evaluated her, and to the people at the Care Center who got tickled at her, after her recovery and her wanting to go right back on TOT!
Yep, just mention a great ride and see what response you get!
We finally got back out and ate at the Pepper Market that evening.
For those of you there on that Tuesday before Thanksgiving we do apologize for the prodding you may have received just before the afternoon parade. Security used the fact that the parade route had been cleared to get her up it just about two minutes before the parade hit. No, no we weren't the pre-parade marshalls or anything.
