The last time we flew to Scotland to see our family I found the jetlag never set in until the trip home...I think we were so excited to get there that I never noticed...but we arrived home on a Sunday and I was back to work on the Monday and by 2 in the afternoon I could have put my head on my desk and been out like a light!
We are flying United this time to MCO and they don't have seat back TV's either. Air Canada and Westjet both do but we didn't have them with Delta last year either. Both Jasmine and I took our Ipod's and watched what we had downloaded and when we got sleepy (early morning flights will do that) we changed to music and had a little nap! The good thing for us though is we get a break half way thru.....Winnipeg to Chicago is 2 hour flight and then Chicago to Orlando is 2 hours....so we've got it pretty good!!
That's good to hear - hopefully we will be able to say the same thing! Wow at going back into work on Monday after a long flight on Sunday

- I would never be able to do that. On the one occasion I have gone back to work straight after a long flight I have regretted it and learnt my lesson. I now aim to have at least one day to recover!
I like the seat back TVs and this is the first time we will not have them - at least I have my laptop and phone to keep me going with movies and music. I was under the impression most Delta flights had them in but maybe it's just the long haul flights that have them. I will definitely be doing some sleeping at some point and yes would appreciate a break in between - you sure have it good! Oh well I will just have to stretch my legs on the flight instead!!
We're used to early morning landings on the way home, but they are actually not bad. We get the 6-7pm flight from MCO and land at LGW around 6-8am. By the time we get home we can actually go to sleep and wake up before midday which helps with the jetlag. I would do just that as soon as you land, trust me it really helps
When flying I tend to listen to my music and do stuff on my iPad. Last year I caught up on my Gossip Girls episodes, watched a couple of films and listened to some music.
Ooh am glad to read that they are not bad - have never arrived in the UK so early in the morning so am not sure how my body will react! I will definitely follow the advice of getting some sleep as soon as we arrive back home
I will definitely be listening to my music and maybe watch some last minute Disney movies. I love GG - that reminds me that I need to catch up with this weeks episode as it is the finale on Wednesday! I think Ed Westwick is great and it is even better that he is from London!
My DD and I watched Pinocciho last night just because of you

She hadn't see it and I forgot we even had it. She liked it, and when I heard " When you wish upon a Star" I really had DWD withdrawals
We are lucky when we fly. It's a two and a half hour trip. I usually just read or watch whatever movie Kadence is watching.
Hahaha I'm glad I inspired you guys to watch it!

Yay on her liking it and when you hear 'When you wish upon a star' the first thing that comes into my mind is Wishes and I haven't even seen it yet! So, I can't even imagine how you felt...not long until September, lol!!
I'm looking forward to watching the next movie - will not give it away but I may be able to actually create some food to go with it!!
Yes you are lucky - I would love to be able to arrive in Disney World in two and a half hours!
Aww, that's too bad you won't get to experience the ME! Although, I can't really talk, I've never done it either, we always rent a car and drive to WDW from the airport!
I've flown from NY to England once, and I have to say, the flight was SO boring!

This was a while ago though, before everyone had Kindles and Ipads and laptops...I think if you have something fun like that, the flight should go by quickly! I'm hoping to buy a laptop before I go in September, so I can watch a Disney movie on the way down!

I also really want a Kindle...Also, try to sleep on the flight! That will pass the time!
Only 121 days for you? That's amazing!!

I'm SO ready to be in double digits, I swear, once you hit 99 days, time seems to go by pretty quickly! I'm at 138 days now...ugh!

It seemed like the 140's took forever!
I know, it's the one thing that I was a bit sad about! Lol, I don't feel too bad now after hearing that you guys have never used it as well!!

We're scared to rent a car due to the driver being on the opposite side and getting lost. I get lost in Manchester so I don't even want to think about driving in unknown territory!!
Yep, a flight would be boring without any form of entertainment though am hoping we will be okay with our laptop. I didn't really want to take it as we will be unable to use it in Disney World but I'm not sitting through an 8 hour flight doing absolutely nothing!!

I would recommend getting a laptop - I love ours and the freedom of being able to use it from anywhere. I want to buy a new gadget - maybe a kindle or ipad but will have to wait for a bit longer. Oh, I will definitely be sleeping especially as I will be sleep deprived the night before from all the excitement of looking forward to our trip!!
Yay, I can't believe it is 121 days either - time is going by very fast at the minute and I am definitely not complaining!!

I can't wait to hit 99 days! I'm sure it will be here soon for you guys as well. I want your trip to arrive but at the same time that will mean we will be back from our trip
