I can't tell you how excited I am about 24 days!!! I can just imagine it now - me lying on the lounger soaking up the sun (am hoping it will have been a sunny day) and then having a go at the lazy/wave pool as well as some slides! However, think we will be back at Pop now!

Awww thanks hun! I was a bit worried that maybe I shouldn't have posted about the interview on here until I had heard back from them but you guys have been great with sending me pixie dust and then making me feel better I sure hope that all this wait results in the 'right' job.

Sorry about the job, but honestly being second in line is pretty darn good. All things equal, it sounds like they had to go with the person with the most experience. And you never know - that person may not be able to accept the job for some reason. So congratulations on having such a positive interview and leaving a positive impression!

23 days today!!!

I've bought everything apart from:

- Trainer socks
- Ponchos
- Ziploc bags
- Waterproof camera

I'm having a hard time finding ponchos and ziploc bags but am going to try a few more shops or look online.

Btw have decided that I will be doing a DR for our trip. Will start it on Wednesday (at our 20 day mark!!) so look out for it - would love to hear your views/opinions on our choices (even though I have listed them on here quite a few times already!)

Aaw thanks for all your kind words after my interview experiences - they sure are of great help It is pretty darn good being second and I am very happy with having a positive interview after my last experience (which I don't even want to think about!) Have just got to find a job where I come first now! I was praying that 'please let the other person not accept the job' but then thought that every one is in the same position and I've just got to accept the decision and move on

Yep, that's what I think as well. The right job is out there - just got to keep looking. You're right about the timing thing though - if I had gotten this job would have had to request leave as soon as I had started and I doubt that would have gone down well!

He sure is a cutie patootie!! He is soo well behaved, it's unreal. He doesn't cry much and sleeps 4-5 hours during the night which I have been told is very good for a new born.

Lol Wendy no worries - it took me a while to get used to all the acronyms on here and I still see some that I have to think about for a short time! DR stands for dining review - I was going to include my meals reviews in my trip report but have been reading soo many good reviews on the dining boards that wanted to return the favour and share what I thought of our meals on our trip. I will be posting a link on Wednesday in my signature and would love to have you follow along
