Our September 2011 Pre-Trip Adventure!! (Update 09/29/2011 - Link to TR!)

20 days! Woohoo! The time will fly by and you'll be on your way before you know it!

Fingers crossed you can find your Minnie dress... that sounds too cute. I was so unoriginal when I went to MNSSHP. DH refused to dress in costume (he was still in his shorts and tee from earlier in the day!) but I wanted to wear something costume-y. I ended up wearing a pair of yellow capris pants with a blue tee layered over a red one... my version of a Snow White costume!

18 days today!!! Time sure is flying by and our trip must be getting close because even Zaheer asked when I was going to start packing!

I sure hope I find it - am going to try and go tomorrow or if not then Wednesday. Think I may also try and see if I can find anything online if the shop does not have it. Lol I think Zaheer will agree to a halloween related shirt but that's about it! That is a really creative and fun Snow White costume - I love the idea and if all else fails will have to remember to use it and wear a white and red vest top with white pants!

Hi everyone! Hope you are all having a great Friday!

I don't normally update on this day but had to share what came through our post today!!!!

I was sooo excited to receive Mickey Mail and it just makes the trip seem more real. We also got our airline tickets and our return flight has been delayed by two hours which means more time at Epcot!!

Hope you all have a great weekend! I'll be back tomorrow to post about a certain anniversary!

It's always fun getting Mickey mail! I'm jealous of the luggage tags. Being in DVC we never get any of that fun stuff-and I'm still mad at the airport for losing the one I did have.

And how great that your flight was delayed?! I know that's not normally something to be happy about, but 2 extra hours at WDW is wonderful! Especially for Epcot, you will want as much time there as possible!

It sure was fun getting them in the post! Oh no but hey you get to go on soo many trips so DVC has it's advantages as well. Also I think Brook is going to be sending some your way to make up for the ones that you lost at the airport

Lol, I know I think I must be the first person to get excited about a flight being delayed! I can't wait to spend the extra 2 hours at WDW and tour around Epcot!

Hi everyone! Hope you are all having a great weekend and any friends affected by Hurricane Irene are keeping safe

So, today is the day!!!
Did anyone figure out what the anniversary was for??

I have been on these boards for exactly a year today!!!

I am sooo glad that I found out about these boards before our first trip. It has helped with gaining so much knowledge and information.

I have also met soo many great people who don't mind me going on about Disney World and don't roll their eyes at me or tell me to 'shut up!' Thank you everyone for making me feel very welcome on these boards and helping me through all my planning

Soo I was thinking that a good way to celebrate today would be to reminisce on the first posts we ever made. Do you remember what yours said or where it was posted? Mine was on Soonergirl's (Michelle's) TR and it said:

Have just finished reading your TR and it's great...thanks for sharing. Feels like I was there with you and your mum
Am hoping to visit October 2011 but am still trying to convince my partner that it is a good idea lol.

I managed to persuade Zaheer into going to Disney World a month earlier then I had originally mentioned so that in itself is a result!
