Hi, everyone, we made it home! We had a GREAT time! The weather was perfect, sunny and 80's every day that we were there, even made it into the 90s on Friday, which of course meant that we came home to snowstorms...

I will try to get Rick to load some pics and share as soon as possible, but I don't think we could have had a better vacation no matter what (well, unless we could have stayed longer and had more spending money, but whatcha gonna do, right? ) Everyone had a wonderful time, no one stressed out at all, it was just perfect...

Good to see you .. i'm not on-line at the same time as anyone much now.
I seem to have hurt my wrist big time some sort of bump called a GANGLION that has wrapped itself around my nerves so that typing can only be done for maybe 10 minutes at a time Using the mouse is WORSE. I think i need to upgrade to a new version of myself!

Oh and thanks for noticing the weight loss, it has been a hard road. I am dreading this week -- seem to have hit a plateau.

OUch! Hope it gets better. Is there anything they can do for you?

Football FINALLY makes sense..........

A guy took his blonde girlfriend to her first football game. They had great seats right behind their team's bench. After the game, he asked her how she liked the experience.

"Oh, I really liked it," she replied, "especially the tight pants and all the big muscles, but I just couldn't understand why they were killing each other over 25 cents."

My friends and I used to watch the Army/Navy game in college and root for whichever team looked better in their uniforms!

I do that for peoples gifts all the time. When I first moved to Louisiana, I made my parents a huge gift basket full of Louisiana stuff (post cards, unique items, LA only food, and added pictures of Kim and I around the state). I always thought a personally made gift ws better than a store bought one.

We do that too....I think people appreciate the thought that goes into it.

The crowds were not too bad at all, the longest wait we had all week was for Soarin, at 40 minutes (the Fastpass time was like 4 hours later, so we just stood in line). But most stuff was 10 minutes at the most, even EE was 5-10 minutes, just long enough to do a leisurely walk through the "museum" that is the line, we never really stopped moving the whole way in. Ummm, we didn't really have a lot of time on the World Showcase, we did have time to ride Gran Fiesta and Maelstrom, and to look around a little bit, did about 3 kidcots, but the more in depth look through there will have to wait for a future trip. Meagan did NOT like Test Track or Space Mountain ( I made her do both those). Catie also hated Space Mountain and wasn't crazy about Rock N Roller Coaster (she chose to ride that one), but she liked Test Track, and they both loved Expedition Everest, Splash and Thunder Mountain, etc. We had lots of great food, met tons of characters, including a certain duck a couple times! Rick said his favorite dinner was Whispering Canyons, I would say mine was Garden Grill, I loved the food there, everything was so fresh and the meat was very tender. The girls loved all the character meals, except for Catie was a little scared of Lilo at Ohana when we first got there, but she did warm up to her by the end of breakfast. I loved the Donald's Safari breakfast at Animal Kingdom, HUGE selection, and I liked the African inspired dishes (I was the only one in the family brave enough to try).

It sounds great!!! I'm goinng through WDW withdrawl already, how about you???

I am so happy Monday is almost over. I have to keep thinking (4 more days till the holiday break).

Is anyone else excited that next Tuesday is XMAS?

Anyways, so whats everyones plan for Tuesday?

I'm very excited, but have SO MUCH to do! Almost nothing is wrapped yet. I did wrap Chris's Birthday presents for tomorrow, so that's done . We are going to a Christmas light show with friends on Friday night and then Sunday we are Celebrating With my BIL/SIL and new niece. Saturday, we will hang out, watch Christmas movies, maybe wrap a little. I'm off on Christmas Eve, but Brian has to work till so the kids and I will wrap some of his stuff then. We head to Church at 5 on Christmas Eve for the Candlelight Living Nativity service, and then to friend's for dinner. Santa comes there and peeks in the window, which sends the kids scurrying....that means it's time to head home and get into bed so Santa can come to our house. Christmas morning brings a big breakfast, hot chocolate, and presents!
We are so excited, since it really all started for us in Disney...so we have been in the Christmas mood for a while! I hope everyone has a Magical time, no mattter where you are or what you do!

Its a ganglion cyst. I have one too. I'm kind of lucky mine comes and goes. You can see a doctor to get it drained. The old fashioned thing to do was to slam something on your hand to get rid of it. If it gets too bad you have to have surgery to get rid of it. My niece had that surgery about 2 years ago and hers came back.

Afternoon everyone!

One week till Christmas YIPPEE

EVERYTHING -- even Ben's B-day gift -- is wrapped and under the tree. I am usually up till after midnight doing all of that.

That's what we're doing today, just not so many. We have a million other kinds of "cookies" that we make before Christmas...sugar, gingerbread, spritz, Russian teacakes/Mexican wedding cakes (whatever you call them), raspberry windows, Grandma B's shortbread/apricot jam things...time to start baking!

Do you want my address so you can send me some? Sounds so yummy!!!

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes!!!! It's a good thing I haven't tried to sleep yet, my phone has been going crazy. It's also a good thing I have unlimited texting.

So far I've had a great day! I came home to a birthday card on my table(DH hardly ever gets me a card~ just something we've never really done)

Then I went to the Casino with my mom, between the 2 of us we had about $80 in comp money. So we played for a bit on them And also lost their money


Then as we were decided what to do for lunch, my cousin called. She was in the area, so we invited her too!!!

She ended up taking us to Bath & Body Works for a shopping spree. I got me some new lotion!!!

Then I got a text from a friend that is doing a really awesome thing for my DD11. Made me tear a little it's so great I'm so lucky to have such great friends




Now, I'm going to bed. BD will be home soon, and he's going to feed the girls tonight so I can get some sleep before work.

My day is just about perfect now all I need are hugs from my kids and BD and it will be.
