Little known fact about me: I am a college English professor and spend heaps of time reading "intellectual stuff" throughout the school year. So when I have a bit of downtime, GIMME THE FLUFF! Nora Roberts is one of my favorite escapes and I also love the "In Death" series under her pen name J.D. Robb. Roarke is soooo hunky!

I will have to remember that on my next trip to Barnes and Nobles.

checking in to see what you have all been up to. It has been crazy busy here with DS son birthday. I got so busy with birthday plans that i forgot to go to a new hd for lgmh while i was in the big city.

Ds got all geared up in pirate stuff this whole weekend complete with a parrot that sits on his shoulder.

It's a good thing Disney does such a lousy job at marketing.

I just got in about a half and hour ago from my job. Slaving, in a very hot kitchen, cooking dinner for what seemed like thousands of people. But, in all actuality. It is was probably around 500, dinners.

500 people??????? You did the cooking for????? And my Mom use to COMPLAIN CONSTANTLY about making dinner for 12....every night...night after night...day in....day out.....AND STILL DOING SO...even though she hasnt cooked in years!

I was trying to teach Dh the art of LGMHPC swiping- he just doesn't get it!-my kids on the other hand.....they are easy, they will do anything that might remotely be considered wrong! )

Yes it is soooooooo much easier to use the 'weakest links' for all of our swiping purposes! Though aint it nice that the little darlings are SO impressionable! You can use the little mushy minds like Play-Doh and kneed them & mold them to create just the GREATEST SWIPER of All Time!

I was happy with my HD swipes, but then I found I could make similar type items on my own. Maybe even sell them on eBay!

I went shopping today at our local scrapbooking store and found a Whale of a Size Mickey Head punch! So and not much farther apart was lime card stock in 12"x12" sheets. What was I to do? so I bought them. Now, I'll grant you they aren't big enough to use as luggage tags - but I could decorate the entire door of our room now.

I've got things to do now, must start punching....

I'm probably the last to know about the bigger punches, yes?

YEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS....But WHAT ABOUT THE THRILL OF THE SWIPE! That BURST of pure oxygenated Energy you get slithering & serpentining outta HD???? Have you thought about ANY of this?????

Good Morning DISUNC, Just to let you and all the secret lime green club members know the Target store here in New York has an entire lime green section from visors, ponchos, ice packs and other items. You think they know? So not only did I purchase a visor but I also went on ebay and purchase a lime green neck cooler (gotta love the color). 7 Days Baby!!!!!!!

Well, I'm totally bummed. I spent quite a bit of time making my lime green "DIS badge", and not one person said a word about it for the entire week. And I didn't see anyone else with one either. Here's what it looked like:

I had it clipped to my fanny pack, and the same image is on both sides. I was sure SOMEONE would see it. Oh well, maybe next time.

Ok, so I couldn't find lime green Airwalks (Croc look-alikes) at Payless but I did get a beach towel on sale at Kohl's. It's blue with a big lime green dolphin!

Hello all!

Just returned from 7 glorious days and I have to say that I, too, spent a great deal of time eyeballing everyone who had on even a smidge of lime green but never saw one other limegreenmickey other than my own. DH (better known as Mr. G2S) thought that I was going out of my mind! I looked and looked but never saw a thing! All of that hard work!!! UGH!! Where were you guys????
In any case, it was an awesome trip although very, very hot! We did have a few luggage issues but I got them resolved without losing too much of the magic!
Glad to be back! Will be posting the full details on the trip report board soon!

Back to the TOPIC AT LARGE! Something is VERY VERY VERY wrong here! Do You think its a insurgency? A criminal master plot from the people on the 'other park" boards? I DUNNO...I JUST DUNNO...I am beside myself and perplexed ..MORE SO THAN USUAL!!!

I know its tough to find other DISERS....Last year I found one. Oh yeah, She tried to ignore me...BUT I FOUND HER.

I was at Epcot one day...and there I spotted her LGMHPC on her back pack. At the same time I noticed that she noticed my LGMHPC on my fanny pack. Also, I knew that She knew that I knew that she saw my LGMHPC. She looked at me like this and took off like a bat outta (you know where)!
I couldn't believe it....I was DISSED by a DISer! . So knowing myself for the past 19 years...I knew I couldnt let this one get away!
I ran after her....alllllllllll over Epcot. Future Showcase, World showcase, France, Mexico....ALLLLLL OVER. "YOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO Fellow Diser....It's MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE DISUNC.......You know MEEEEEEEEE.....Rememba we had that BIG fight on the Community Boards...and I called you a Ignorant stupid poopie head" She turned back again...and again looked at me like this... ! Again the chase persued...I ran and ran and ran "YOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO"....but alas She got away!
I was amazed that she went THAT FAST in a wheel chair! My word! Her forearms were just like Popeyes! Perhaps the poor thing was hard of hearing too, and didn't hear me SCREAM my name OVER & OVER & OVER!
