I love how our DISKIDS have gotten the unexpected grandmothers involved!!!
The beauty is, if caught, the Grandmas will always take the fall for their grandkids!!!! So we can stay home (or at work) and post on these boards while sending kids with grandmas. It's pure genius!!!!

Actually, this DISgram got the DD to "pick up" the LGMHPCs. DD, DSiL and DGD went to HD. Grandma (me) says to pick up some paint chips...get the alien green ones....DD says, "WHAT ROOM ARE YOU PAINTING THAT COLOR!!!" Hehehe...
DGD is 18 months old and REALLY cute. Figured she would be a BIG distraction while DD was "picking up" a few (10) "paint samples"! And, of course, DSiL was clueless, actually buying home improvement items!

Did they give you a good price...I always had trouble with them.

I already had room only ressies with AAA discount that I had made myself over the phone. The AAA TA had to take over my ressies for the package... long story there, but the total came out almost exactly right, with my original AAA room only price, plus the dining cost for me and DD per day, plus the cost of 2 one day base passes. I had the total when I went in ready to compare. They were $5 more on each ressie (I have a split stay so 2 packages). I figured I must have missed a tax or something.. or maybe my math is a good as your DISNEF's

First time I ever went to AAA for travel so I can't compare... but if I do in the future, I will still do my homework and know the lowest price I can get without them... and compare.



BTW.. did anyone have trouble on here last night (this morning) I think about 1:30am ish??? I kept getting a bad server something page....

I went with a friend to HD and I only found 1 Alien Green Paint Sample... My friend decided that was not enough... so she dragged over the man working in the paint section and asked him to look for more... this poor man was laying on the floor trying to reach boxes of paint samples... he was looking for a good 15 minutes and then he said that they were out... and he had a puzzled look on his face like "Why would anyone want to paint their rooms in Alien Green"... Then he told me that the behr man should be restocking the colors soon... I could help but fell a little guilty for making that man crawl on the ground to get me samples... oh well... atleast I have one

grandmothers would make the best swipers around because people would just think "oh she's just old" That has always worked with my grandma as she cleans out the sweet and low at the restaurant. Imagine if I were able to turn her loose in a hd. She's too old and senile now oh well but in her younger years she could have been a heck of a swiper. Senior Swipers unite.

My Grandma had it bad. Not just sweet & low but the equal and the real sugar. If we had sent her in, she would have come home with ever Mickey Head in the place

5 minutes of nerve racking anticipation goes by….and no word! I wait tensely for another minute…..I CANT TAKE THE WAITING ANYMORE…I call my Nephew.

DisUnc: Why didn’t you call me back, I am going CRAZY here waiting for you to call.

I have to say I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. What a hoot

It's bad enough that LIME happens to be my favorite color....now I have to go and acquire myself a few alien green mickey heads. I (as well as my girlfriend) will be at WDW in December and I will definitely be wearing the limeness!!!! This is awesome.

I'm not sure about putting it on our hotel door....but we will make sure it is quite visible on our bags and such!!

there really isn't one. It depends on how good the Behr rep is at your local depot. (oh by the way, if anyone lives by me and needs any LGMHPC you might want to let me know-there normally isn't any at the depot-for some reason they never even make it to the sales floor! )

What will she think she is going to the airport for???? My parents use to take me to JFK all the time...and LEAVE ME! So this plan sounds ! However I use to have lotsa fun on the luggage carosel!

We are going to park the car and then she will start in with her millions of questions! You know kids...they have a quota that they must reach everyday and she is always successful! We are planning on telling her we are going to take her somewhere special and she has to guess where...surely she will guess correctly! We also are going to have a gift bag full of goodies to help her if she can't figure it out. We didn't know what else to do...I am just ready to tell her now, but DH will kill me!

On to more important business...guess where I went today??

Yes, to HD and I got all the LGMHPCs they had...only 26 DD was so excited and spotted them before I did! She said, "Mom, there they are She then said, "Now what?!?!" I told her to grab them all and run...run like the wind She grabbed them and headed for the door! I proceeded behind her so I could intervene if anyone tried to stop her! Once in the car, she counted our loot and said, "We only have 26...we have to go back when they have more...this isn't enough!"

She made me so proud!

I had a whole 4 Seconds to breathe today (isn't the first day back to work TERRIBLE?)

and i resized some (not all) of my pictures.

okay, here's the ones that YOU GUYS want to see..

and before anybody says i have lack of LGMH pride let me explain. There WAS more than one mickey head on my door. actually there was about 15. HOWEVER. due to the fact that my room was surrounded by 3 rooms of teenage girls, i kept coming back the room to find that magically, my mickey heads were disappearing. The last straw came the day one of them outted themselves and put the mickey head they took off my door on their own. obviously, they don't DIS, so i stole it back. That night they were being rather loud, so i took the oppurtunity to call the front desk and tell them whoever was in the room next to us was so loud we couldn't get to sleep. i heard a knock on the door and all was well
