Lying is such a strong word, so let's just say I was....stretching the truth a bit or telling the story the way I wanted it to be heard!

Now lets face it, I have out and out lied to my kids. It all started when they were very little and their hamster died. I told them them the hamster was very sick and had to go to the Hamster Nursing Home. Of course they wanted to visit the hamster so I told them the Hamster nursing home was by Daddy's work , about 1 1/2 hours from home so they couldn't go.

LizzieSwan 1022, if you're reading this... You're hamster is doing fine. Great progress these last 10 years in the Hamster Nursing Home (Of course I wouldn't lie to you sweetie!)

When the Hamster died I was expecting DD #3. Let me tell you the smell of a dead hamster, to a pregnant woman, is not pleasant. AS a matter of fact I do believe I turned alien green!

Luckily after the hamster was taken to the home, The outer green went away and now just my heart and soul remain alien green

I have to take the little brat this time since it is to celebrate her birthday and because I got to go take my Girls Only trip to Disney back in March with one of my best friends! Boy, was that one of the best trips ever

To answer the question....we have agreed to not tell her until we are at the airport!

If anyone has any better ideas on how to tell her, please share!

OK...still don't know what all I am going to do with all of my LGMHPC's, but went to Target today and got the green dollar ponchos, green battery fans and very lime green sunglass case. We leave next Friday!!! My DS (11) said "Mom-we are DISers!!" I am so proud of him. Oh, also got the neon (quasi lime) green glow sticks for night. Whew!!

Actually, this is one of the US Women's Junior Olympic Field Hockey teams (the Lime Green squad, natch)....who knew they were DISers, too??

Yes, glue them back to back (I used my daughter's Elmer's Glue Stick...great because you can readjust the alignment until you get it right), then, if you have it, use the self-laminating stuff from Wal-Mart (or elsewhere, I presume) to make your LGMH more durable. Trim as needed and, viola, a lasting symbol of your devotion to the LIME! Woo hoo! And, yay! Great job on the bucket hat!

For helenm29, you can buy Sticktack from the hardware store...it's like a cross between glue and putty, but it allows you to stick things to walls (or doors) without causing damage and then you can unstick them easily without trouble. I found mine at the dollar store, so maybe check there first.
