If you laminate them ...hang them either on your window..or your room door knob like a luggage tag!

However YOU MUST take them with you UPON leaving your resort. We wouldnt want the next guest to be using your DIS-identity!!!!

Well, I certainly haven't been around these boards long enough to have first-hand knowledge of this, so perhaps someone will come along and correct me or give a more complete account of the story, but my understanding is that some years back, a group of DISers who wanted to be able to recognize each other in the parks decided that they would wear lime green ribbons on their shirts or backpacks. Then some people wore lime green shirts, either with or without DIS printed on them, hats, etc. Eventually, someone realized that the Home Depot Behr/Disney paint samples, which come in the shape of Mickey heads, would make good backpack or luggage tags. People came up with other creative ways to use them (i.e., ID tags for around kids' necks, for hanging in resort rooms, on resort doors and windows, and what have you). Then, momandseandodisney started this thread and we kind of went stark raving mad with the lime green theme. Although I think you probably figured that out by now!

This just made me think of that eBay commercial where the one guy is trying to sell his lime green hatchback (his wife says something like "Honey, who on earth is going to want that horrible thing?", and the dude who calls to buy it is wearing all lime green, lime green beret, and everything. Hi! This Nov will be my first WDW trip as a Dis-er and I plan to visit Home Depot for my green Mickeys.

I'm green to being green!

Instead of cutting it into Mickey shapes - get a Mickey mold.

I have Mickey ice trays. Very cool !

Purchased at WDW several years ago. Sure they still sell them.

I did...and i it!!

because i'm a crazy pack and re-packer, my mickeys are chillin' on my luggage waiting to go to the airport

Too bad they have to wait 9 more days...

oh and continuing with the lime green, i've bought some FABOLOUS Lime Green Ribbon to put on our black luggage, and some more so i can put it in my hair. I've also made a nifty door-knob hanger with some string and mickey heads.

tkitty posted a scan of her green mickey with her name on it a few pages back. It looks real cute! I think I might leave my door mickey blank or just write "DIS" on it. I have to tread lightly so I don't get the frownie face from DH. lol
